Lovely property and the staff are so helpful and friendly, especially Rebecca and Marcus. I felt right at home. I could park right out front and sit in the sun and enjoy a coffee in the morning or work on my laptop- it gets sun all day on the deck and you can see the ocean. The location is perfect to get anywhere in Cape Town especially to all the cafes in sea point or to camps bay.

Excellent decor - clean & modern design. Very clean throughout the property. Clever use of the space in the single-sleeper room booked. Spacious shower with great water pressure and temperature. Solid Wi-Fi. Espresso pod machine in the room was most welcome. Quaint pool area in the courtyard at the rear of the property. Lovely restaurant onsite. Dedicated, off-street parking bays in front of the main entrance. Helpful & friendly staff (shout out to Rebecca). Excellent location for exploring Seapoint, Greenpoint & Mouille Point on foot in all directions. At this price point, nothing at all to complain about.

The size of the room was disappointingly small.

The mattress was decent Booked a king bed. When I booked in it was 2 twins. This was rectified while I went out The drawer in the room was broken - had no bottom. As per booking there was supposed to be a coffee machine. No coffee machine. As per pics their was supposed to be a couch in room. No couch in room. No remote for TV No charger plugs in room. Parking advertised as available - on a first come basis and it is street parking. Reported the beds and remote to day Manager and informed of broken drawer. Even told him I think he has allocated incorrect room to me and was told it would be sorted. Came back at 22.00 the evening and only bed was changed to king. Night person had to go a find a remote at another venue. Got TV on only to find netflix, only station available was not accessible due to it needed to be upgraded. Spouse ordered a hot chocolate from menu and was told they don't have hot chocolate. Lucky we had brought our own coffee and hot chocolate sachets with from home.

Good location The hotel didn't have our booking on arrival. We were eventually given a room which had dirty sheets and no pillowcases on the pillows. We were told that the housekeeping staff had left so couldn't rectify until the morning. The next day we were told we had to leave our key at reception to be reprogrammed. When we got back to the hotel the staff had no knowledge of this and we had to wait to get into our room. At 11 pm that evening a man unlocked and entered our room. I had just gotten out of the shower. It transpired that he had been assigned our room on check in. This is wholly unacceptable and reflective of the chaotic management of this hotel.

Location, breakfast, comfort My cupboard door was broken. I had to ask for a softer pillow, they obliged after I told them The windows in the single room could have been bigger, wasted space on the left side (room 5) Maybe they could have warned guestes how very steep the stairs were getting up to my room. Having said all of this, I''ll be back!

I have written a long report on bookings.com so please contact them to see my feedback.

I was a bit confused by the two locations on the street. But nice location. Nice deck. That they didn’t know about my booking, because they got the guestlist for the weekend on Friday. I booked Friday afternoon and therefore the reception didn’t know. They don’t have a computer to look things up. All was fine and there was a room for me. But the confusion could’ve been avoided.
