Perfect stop before heading to Carlsbad Caverns. Helpful staff and comfortable rooms.

The morning breakfast was very good over the top, glad we did not go out and eat breakfast. I was in a tourist town for Carlsbad Caverns and the front desk personnel could not help with basic questions about it. Parking. Not enough parking for everyone. We went out and got back late and no parking. I had to park next door at a clinic but did not sleep well, I was afraid I was going to get towed.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and offer a nice cool reprieve from the summer heat. The staff mostly only speak Spanish, but are all very friendly and didn't laugh at our awful attempts at speaking the language. The hotel has a small but nice gym and pool. They also offer a wonderful complementary breakfast including everything from waffles, pancakes, eggs, cereal, muffins, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, or ham (depending on the day), hash browns, milk, juice, and coffee, and yogurt, to bagels and toast.

The night manager was the nicest! So warm and welcoming! The bed was pretty comfortable and the pillows were perfect. Water pressure was amazing. Pretty quiet overall. It was really only when other guests were in the hall that we heard others. Elevator sounds a little sketchy, but I guess she’s fine. Nice view of the desert from the back of the building and beautiful flowering native NM plants adorning the property. The stars are the convenient location (a great spot if you want to stay somewhere decent for Carlsbad Caverns or Guadalupe Mountains and easy access to restaurants in Carlsbad) and the breakfast. Every day the morning staff had prepared something distinctly different from the previous day along with the usual fare. One of the top 5 free hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had.

The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful! The room we had was clean, well put together and welcoming. The continental breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a long time, the coffee was suburb!

This is our second time staying here. And both times have been wonderful. I really enjoy staying here with my family.

Nice rooms

* When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk, so we had to sit and wait about 5 to 10 minutes until someone arrived. * I was told that we could connect to the hotel's WIFI using my last name and room number, but each time it was tried I got an error message that the details didn't match their records.

Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast

Breakfast was decent. Bathroom door did not close all the way. No bathroom fan.

Both days I stayed, there were not many options. Both days I went early enough where breakfast items missing could have been replaced. I must add that the staff in the breakfast area needed help with a simple translation of someone wanting to fill their water bottle. I was able to help, and nothing wrong with people not speaking English but you definitely have to understand English.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, and conveniently located for national park visitors. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was your basic waffle egg, and sausage. This hotel was such a treat after a long drive. It smelled clean and the bed was oh so ever comfortable!
