Novotel Nantes Carquefou

The breakfast was wonderful, offering lots of choices. I liked that the toilet was in a separate space from the shower and sink. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel comfortable.

No slippers in the room and the opening time of the pool is late

Breakfast was very good, room was clean and the shower was great. Dinner was disappointing and rather poor, we ordered from the al la carte menu and the food arrived just 2 minutes after we placed the order!which seemed strange ? I believe, it was all prepared well in advance and just reheated and that affected the quality of the food we ordered. Also did not like , I needed to pay two different credit card payments in advance on arrival at the hotel I was advised this was to cover expenditure incidentals ( food / beverages ) and the room charge, on checking out I had to pay total amount I spent by credit card again I explained I have already paid in advance on arrival ? I was then informed my payment card will be reimbursed in a day or two time despite my total ‘spend’ was below the amount I paid as a deposit on arrival!

Nothing it doesn’t look like a 4 stars hotel compare to other Novotel hotels this was just rubbish I’ve been charged €100 for deposits for nothing. When I checked in the guy said I would have them back when I would check out till today I never got my money back. 3 days after the check out. A shame !!!

The pool was lovely, and the food was delicious. We had a fridge I our room and it was a pet friendly hotel so we were able to bring our little dog. It is our 4th time staying in this hotel as it is pet friendly and perfect for a stopover night. The hotel overall is fab. However, the carpet in the bedroom was dated and worn off. I can't remember if that was a problem before, but our breakfast coffees were terrible (cappuccino and americanos). Maybe it was the machine ?

In a quiet area with safe parking facilities and hotel had everything we needed for our stay.

The staff were absolutely brilliant, lady on reception and guys in the bar couldn't be friendlier

Rooms were clean and comfortable, swimming pool and restaurant were great. Perfect nights stopover travelling through France.

Great stop over. Great size family room. Pool open till 10pm, my boys were able to enjoy it after a long car journey. Nice bar area too.The grounds of the hotel was well kept & was able to stretch my dog’s legs. Checked out at 11am and hotel lent us some towels for us to enjoy the pool a bit longer before heading back on the road. Nothing.

The pool was nice, our kids really enjoyed it The food wasn’t great.

Very clean and comfortable, good location, easy to get into the city. We were here on a weekend when the buses don’t run, but all trams around the city are free at weekends and easy to navigate.

Staff friendly and professional , very clean. Good equipment.

The dinner and breakfast buffet were delicious. Our waitress Patricia was so helpful and kind.. The shower was really good. There was a kettle in the room and a small fridge The pool was broken. We purposely stayed in this hotel so that our boys could have a swim after a 10 hrs journey. So that was disappointing. The food and drinks were very expensive. We got charged for a tax de séjour which we didn't know about when booked (thought the price indicated was the one we'd pay). The rooms are dated and the carpet badly needed to be changed.
