The refrigerator really needs an ice machine. And it was a little far from downtown, especially on the way back which is pretty much all uphill. And didn't realize the amount of children that would be there. The shower in the second bathroom leaked.

Very clean, and staff was very polite. The resort is well-kept and so was the interior. The gym could be bigger. And at the time of my stay the hot tub was out of order.

The solution created because the swimming pool was temporary closed. The friendlyness of the staff and the massage facility. Thanks Inez!

The pools and sauna were great. The hot tub and steam room were out of service for our full week stay. When we asked they had been out of service for weeks.
-
The facilities such as indoor swimming pool and rooms were great. Breakfast was expensive if not included in booking so had to dine out.

Staff were SO friendly! My room was huge & spotless. Shower was powerful and L’Occitane products were offered! The spa looked lovely…unfortunately I didn’t bring my swimwear. The grounds were beautiful & so peaceful. Plenty of parking spaces. Felt safe. I actually want to live here! Didn’t want to leave. Will DEFINITELY be back. It was a bit further away from the centre of Carvoeiro than I thought, but, I had a car so not a big deal.

The food at the restaurant was overpriced and was just average.

The staff are so friendly and helpful it feels like a second home for me and my family.

The restaurant food was really good. The staff was very nice. The spa was really bad. The interior pool was not working. The jacuzzis were not working (they turned one on but there was no bubbles and the water only heated to 34 degrees) the Sauna was on but the dor handle was broken and sharp. The only thing working properly was the steam bath but the machine is super loud. The gym was flooded (there was a storm and this not their fault obviously) but the installations are not ready for rain as there were leaks everywhere).

It’s a small and quite resort well maintained and peaceful with a lovely atmosphere. We parked the car in front of the property. The apartment was very spacious. The kitchen has everything that you need. The breakfast was very fresh and staff very friendly. We will return ? It’s a bit too far from the beach, specially the return back it’s very hard…. We took an Uber …it would be a great idea to organize a shuttle to take guests it would be definitely a plus for the guests. The pillows were too high… and all the TVs were too small for the size of the rooms and leaving room. The place needs a huge paint refresher and a lots of renovation specifically on the pool wood bridge that some are falling apart.

Accommodation was spacious. It’s dilapidated, falling apart and massively understaffed. Certainly not a 5 star resort.

Never had breakfast Requested a number of things from reception and House keeping and they never were delivered??

The resort was gorgeous! The room was huge! It was easily the biggest and nicest place we stayed at on our European vacation but it was also easily the least expensive. I loved the area and how close it was to a town. The streets were all manicured nicely! The staff went out of their way to be nice to us. The heated pool was amazing! Loved the sauna / hot tub/ steam room and gym as well. I liked it so much I might buy a unit! Can’t say enough great things about this place. The romantic package I paid for was so well presented with rose petals everywhere and champagne as well as chocolate to die for. The cliff lines out there are breathtaking and the Bengali caves kayak tour was a must do!! Unless you’re out of shape…then maybe take a boat or see if you can find an escalator. That we had to leave.

It was clean and staff were friendly, nice location. The property was clean and they were busy with restorations but I would not rate the resort a 5 star. It definitely needs some upgrading overall and I would definitely make it more clear that the resort is for families with small children.

More of a serviced facility than a hotel. Short on reception staff.

Quaint aesthetics, very nice food, staff friendly for the most part. Indoor pool was out of service. We were declined food during a power outage where no food was available (and no running water) with a 10 month old baby. Was also overcharged for the final bill by approx 50 euros.

The villa we stayed in was big and could easily accommodate the four of us. Some kitchen stuff was provided. The cleaning staff work hard. We got a pleasant surprise for the kids' 3rd birthday when two staff members came over to deliver cake and bubbly. I was told on multiple occasions that our villa would have a baby security gate and bed rails upon arrival for our toddlers. Only one bed rail had been set up. Had to talk to multiple reception staff to get it sorted. It was stressful as there were big marble stairs outside the kids' bedroom, located on the upper level. My partner had to sleep with them on the first night, as it couldn't be resolved for another day. We've experienced the same issue with getting the patio doors sorted - multiple people have told us that maintenance would arrive at 8 am, then it was 9 am, and then it was whenever they were available. Couldn't get a straight answer from anyone. The indoor swimming pool area was rarely cleaned in the morning after the previous day. The floor was gross. When it was raining outside, the glass roof was leaking into the swimming pool.
