lovely quiet place to stay, in the country but close to the town, supermarkets, etc, and a short drive to beaches and golf courses. The gardens are beautifully kept, pool area and terraces are just lovely. Breakfasts were delicious, lots of variety for everyone’s taste. Rooms spacious and comfortable, beautifully clean. And the staff were especially friendly and made us so welcome, even provided a breakfast for us on our last morning when we had to leave for early flight! Can’t think of anything!

Lovely gardens and pool, kind, welcoming staff (gave lots of great tips on sights/activities), clean, quiet and peaceful location, good breakfast No complaints, as long as you don’t mind walking a bit farther to food (or if you have a car)

Loved loved our room with deck facing the pool. Very quiet and relaxing. 10 min ride to the beach which was great, as it wasn't hectic. The manager was amazing with local restaurant recommendations that were wonderful. The breakfast in the morning was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend Not much...we found everything to our liking.

Breakfast was very pleasant and fresh. The room was a fine size and good air-conditioning I would have like a restaurant to eat in. This would have saved trying to find a place.

This review is more about our host Christina and the staff than anything else. When we checked in she was so welcoming that we knew our stay was going to good. She helped us plan our day trips and provided us with great information about the area. The breakfast selection was not as extensive as some hotels but perfect for my wife and I. Fresh orange juice, pastries, eggs, assorted cheese and meat, yogurt, fruit , cereal, toast, and of course coffee and tea. The rooms were very clean and the grounds well kept. There is secure on-site parking at no additional cost which is a nice break from fees charged in places like Lisbon where we have paid €29.95/24 hrs. As others have mentioned there are plenty of lawn chairs around the pool and its a great setting for relaxing but taking a dip takes a bit of courage at this time of year as it is not heated. The location is a few kilometers from Carvoeiro and the beaches so if you like to walk it’s a bit too far in my opinion. Fortunately there is a reasonable amount of free parking in Carvoeiro near the attractions so driving to town isn’t a big deal. As for the facilities if our poolside room is indicative of the others new furnishing would go a long way to sprucing it up. Also, we had to be very patient waiting for the shower water to heat up.

Everything was beautiful down to the furnishings, the accent pieces and the landscaping. Christi was very welcoming and friendly. I didn't like the fact that I only booked one night and should have stayed more had I not had prior commitments.

Breakfast could be a bit earlier

Book this place without hesitation. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler. It's home away from home. Nearby beaches are amazing. Loved the huge garden, where we had a amazing breakfast every morning by the pool. Cristina is Amazing and so t and helpful. Definition of a guesthouse

Absolutely stunning! Quiet, well kept and feels secluded even though your very close (10 min to beach and 30 min to Lagos old town) to everything. I would stay here again and again! Loved it.
-
Very quiet peaceful place to stay and get away from the busy-ness of activity. Christina is an amazing host and made sure we were comfortable and she made a great breakfast! Google gave us bad directions coming from the east and took us on an old donkey trail. If you see a straight east-west line right before your arrival don’t take it!!

I could have scheduled my visit when the pool would have been warmer.

We loved thar the receptionist was very helpful even in thr middle of the night when we needed it.Thw hotel ans room was very clean ans spacious...and breakfast generous. Initially upon arrival the sitting room.had an old smell... Also, advertised as Airbnb..it was more of a hotel as there was no direct access to thr kitchen.
