Lovely garden, comfortable room and above all warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Having to get a taxi into town

Food was Excellent.

The staff were friendly and worked hard to provide a consistent experience for guests - for example, making sure that we had the same table every morning for breakfast and for dinner. The beds were very comfortable and my mother loved the duvet. The air conditioner didn't work particularly well. It kept turning off (in a way unrelated to the set temperature). It is hard to walk from the location as there is a non-sidewalk pedestrian way next to a busy road for about 50 yards. This made getting to the bus or just walking in the evening less enjoyable.

All of the staff were amazing, very polite cheerful and very helpful. The food at dinner was very good, the breakfast not so good, poor choice of fruit and cooked breakfast disappointing. Staff very helpful when asked for a room change as didn't realise there was no lift and climbing two flights of narrow stairs was very difficult with mobilty problems, ground floor room found after 2 days. The buffet breakfast. Also needing to carry own teapots milk jug and cup and saucer to table. Providing trays would have been helpful.

It’s very charming , garden lovely, didn’t use pool but looked nice . Restaurant is really nice , a little airless , did feel like air con or window could be opened but that’s a personal choice. Food here is wonderful. Staff super friendly and helpful . Rooms clean Room we had at the front was a little noisy as facing the road but you can shut window and put on air con

Great location with lovely and friendly staff, great breakfast choices and comfortable room. Bathroom was compact which is fine, but there was sharp corner on the bath which I got caught on. looked a bit shoddy, with one end of the shower rail just stuffed into the ceiling to secure.

Generally the staff members were lovely and very accommodating. The hotel and grounds were well kept. Breakfast was superb - lots of choice and always well cooked and presented. The room was very average - quite small, but adequate for our needs. The TV stopped working the day before we checked out, due to a 'technical problem'.

Needed a good hotel which offered parking, this hotel had plenty of parking, the gardens had been immaculate, very peaceful to sit of an evening, the food had been brilliant both evening meal a breakfast My stay was perfect I couldn’t think of any negative points
