I was offered a breakfast box as I was leaving very early but it wasn’t available where they showed me it would be

The staff were very helpful and courteous and the hotel was clean and comfortable

I visit quite regularly. Very friendly place to stay, always accommodating and its very relaxing.

The building facade is very pretty. It is attached to a forty room modern hotel. Breakfast is very nice. Bedding is good. Very clean. Reasonably close to bus stops. Rooms are quite small. Bathroom is tiny, with an unusually small sink and shower. Toilet seat was too small for toilet. There were four dogs staying in the room next door, barking in the morning. Bed was extremely firm.

The price of 3 nights was about £100 cheaper than the nearest rival prices. And included breakfast! Room was very large and had ensuite. It had all the essentials, TV, coffee making. Plenty of storage space. Breakfast included Mediterranean and a choice of cooked meal. There could of been a little more choice of cereals. And no yogurt. But the cooked food was good and the staff were friendly. They also offer 2 complimentary glasses of prosecco for using the 'go green skip the clean' each day, so I could look forward to a free prosecco each evening. Nothing to not like really and a steal at the price. Wifi was intermittent. Probably because my room was right at the back of the hotel.

The breakfast was excellent although I did get it for free via a bonus from booking.com. Having said that I would not have paid the £16.50 they wanted if I had to pay for it. The venue was good (just a mile from the sea) and 3 miles from the ferry terminal. The room was very clean with a excent size bet. Heating in the room if needed. Good overhead (rain) shower or direct on although you had to climb in the bath to use it (old fashioned now) Tea and coffee (although a bit miserly with the tea bags (had to ask for more). The price of drinks were honestly shocking. £21 for a Guiness and large G & T or large Servignon....£14 in my local in London. The meals were so expensive that my partner and I witnessed on two occasions, distraught people explaing that the could not afford to eat. They both explained that as there was nowhere else to go, and the fact that they had to eat, were offered (on one occasion) a bowl of chips for £10...which she accepted. We didn't like the way the manager and bar staff were treating the situation as quite funny....definately not nice. I would advise the hotel to consider lowering their food prices....and not to be so nasty about those guests who are not wealthy. The manager succered up to those he new had money, had nothing to do with those who obviously were on a budget (we wern't) as I was there on business and everything was paid on expenses, he reminded me of a pompous strutting peacock.

Beautiful room, fabulous breakfast, wonderful location.

Very clean and nicely refurbished. Great breakfast included. Very good value.

Off season, the value was unbeatable. Great breakfast, with a main course that will be prepared in the kitchen + a buffet. Staff was able to receive us past the checkin time, which was greatly appreciated. The staff was super nice and helpful. Comfortable bed, great linen. No email communication, difficult to reach over the phone. “King”size bed is probably 160cm. We dined at the restaurant and it was not that good given the price. There are better options in St Peter.
