Very beautiful gardens, very clean, excellent staff, excellent food. I can’t say I didn’t like it because it was lovely but it’s not the prettiest beach I’ve ever seen.

The staff were great. The grounds and surroundings are mature, statuesque and beautifully kept by the gardeners. The sociable shared spaces and regular unpretentious evening gatherings and live music encouraged guests to mingle and get to know each other. The vibe was very friendly. Mary, the manager, was very present and engaged with the guests. The buildings have been there a long time and show it in some ways - but they are comfortable and they work. Our only issue was a bit of noise from our neighbours who both seemed to have enduring coughs…

East Winds is peaceful and personal service that exceeds all expectations. Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Accommodation spaced apart in mature gardens, plenty of space for clothing. breakfast excellent, lunch/dinner different each day, no reservations req'd for sittings. Only additional payments were for any excursions and treatments. Tipping policy is pay if you want at end of holiday and shared amongst all staff, who were helpful and friendly. No loud music, peaceful and quiet. the drive from airport is approx 85 minutes due to only one busy road. Lighting in rooms could have been brighter.

great service and excellent food.The location was excellent. The grounds and birds, particularly the humming birds were fantastic. Only the trip on the catamaran was an issue. We were allocated to a commercial cruise. This was too busy, too loud really although the trip itself was good.

Everthing about East Winds is excellent. Great food, very attentive and helpful staff at all times. Quiet pool area, lots of available sunbeds on beach or poolside with as many towels as you like. Fabulous and well-appointed cottage/villa surrounded by a lovely garden and mango trees. Many guests here were returning - we can see why. Very hard to think of anything as all so good. Only negative really is that it is a 90 min drive from the airport.
