Like now, the Facility is very clean .Staff always willing to help the location is not far from Castries If I have to say one thing didn't like . Some if the meat could of cook a little more besides that the food was good

Everything The staff were so helpful The facilities were first class The free shuttle to the beach and town did not run on Wednesday or Sunday. Perhaps a second driver could be employed to ensure guests have the option of days out every day

The hotel is not very big so you could get around easily. The staff were amazing. The evening entertainment was very good and varied. The staff made a great effort but it wasn't always to peoples liking but we loved it! There was a shuttle that ran hourly to the beach and the town market. The views from the hotel were beautiful. Peaceful during the day. Great range of cocktails to enjoy. The hotel is dated and could do with a refresh. We has problems with hot water but this may have been during peak usage times. The food at thr main restaurant was very limited and the quality depended on the chef on duty. Food was much better at the pool bar. Unfortunately the beach bar was not including in the all inclusive package. If you walk into the town, be prepared for a hard uphill walk back to the hotel.

I enjoyed the location, the views and the protection overhead when walking between locations on the property in preparation for weather conditions. There weren’t entertainment options on the property beside the two pools which you cannot play any personal music on speakers for an ambiance, only in your headphones.

The resort was nice the food was horrible the drinks was good. Staff was friendly some of them. I didn’t like the property because I ordered an birthday package for my birthday and the fruit platter was molded within hours

    • Small size – one gets to befriend most of the guests and know the staff. • The room was great – large room, ocean view (a bit more expensive), cozy balcony, comfortable beds, modern bathroom • Nice, helpful staff (Fabiana, Madrina, Belinda, Devon, Alvin, …) • Jeffries who ran by himself a lot of activities (Aquafit, Yoga, Pilates, trips outside the resort). Shared a lot of interesting info about the island. . Not bothered by smoking (like in other resorts). Smokers had their own designated areas so the rest (90% of us) would not be inconvenienced. • Badminton and ping-pong facilities. • The grounds are well maintained. • Two pools with plenty of beach chairs for everyone. • The “big boss” (Dean) is always there keeping an eye on things and interacting with guests. Even helping out. • Shuttle to the nice beach and to town. • Rather small buffet with mostly (very) hot/spicy food. My wife and I have a big issue with hot food (chili, Cajun, black pepper, curry). We traveled all over Europe and had NO issue with the food. Even in Mexico and the Dominican Republic we had plenty of “non-hot” choices. Here most staff has no idea what non-hot food mean. At the cabana we were offered “non-hot” burgers that had big time Cajun pepper in them or, in the buffet, some meat with “non-hot” sauce containing … chili pepper. Eventually, after talking to chief Dean, the cooks Devin and Alvin took us under their wing and helped us “navigate” the food scene – even preparing some special meals for us. (Is this maybe the reason the hotel guests seem to be exclusively British and North-American – not European?) • One cannot walk from the hotel to the beach or to town. The road is narrow and winding and has no sidewalk; even the cars have a hard time navigating it (it is a miracle they do).

They cater to your needs and the food was exceptional. Friendly staff and you really can't beat the view from the veranda restaurant. Bel Jou has made it hard for me to visit st Lucia and not stay at their hotel. Did I mention the A+ cleanliness? Thank you for the wonderful experience you gave my wife and I. Your staff made our honeymoon unforgettable. Much love from the Trini couple.

Bel Jou Hotel in Castries is a wonderful place to stay with truly awesome views across the Caribbean Sea and all the way to Martinique ??. Waking up to that view never gets old and is genuinely breathtaking. The staff are absolutely amazing. Always smiling, always helpful and they really make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Their warmth and friendliness are a huge part of what makes this hotel special. The wildlife around the hotel is stunning. Hummingbirds dart past the balconies, bull finches are everywhere, butterflies fill the gardens and the colours of the plants are vibrant and striking. It feels calm, tropical and very natural. Vegetarian food options are limited but the kitchen did try their best to accommodate and provide alternatives, which was appreciated. Overall a lovely hotel with unforgettable views, beautiful nature and exceptional staff that make your stay feel relaxed and special. The hotel needs modernizing a little & the rooms would benefit with dehumidifiers. On one morning the fruit at breakfast ran out and soya milk was also unavailable, which was a small disappointment but did not detract too much from the overall experience.

"Stayed 5 nights and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The hotel was not a all inclusive but more like a 'semi-all-inclusive' package which meant extras like room service and bottled water came with an added cost. The atmosphere leaned towards a more mature crowd, feeling less vibrant for younger guests. Overall, a calm retreat but check the details if you're after more perks or a lively vibe.

The only 2 staff members that were nice or cordial were Mikey, Dana, and a nice young lady during checkin (she had two buns in her hair and wore glasses)-never got her name. Everyone else were rude. the workers looked at you as if you owed them something or didnt want to serve you. 2 days I went to eat and had to flag down the server to get a drink. it was another rude lady at lulus on saturday for lunch she was rude during breakfast saturday morning as well. I'm not understanding why she was so hostile. I told her about my order she said it would be a wait then walked off, but stared at my table the entire time as if she didnt care about the food. then once I finally got my food it was cold!!!!! I want a refund! The rooms and shower was FILTY, mold, dirt, hairbefore I even showered, then on top of that, dead bugs, the toilet had residue on it as if it hadnt seen a toilet brush in a while, then a dirty brush is left in the bathroom with brown feces from the previous guest-a real horrid. condom rapper was found on the balcony chair outside so the housekeepers are not thoroughly cleaning these rooms. I really felt bamboozeled on spending money for this filty place.

Very friendly staff and great value

I really enjoyed my stay at Bel Jou. My room was always spotless, the self-service bar by the pool was so convenient for grabbing a refill before heading out, and the buffet had so many great options — breakfast was especially my favorite. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made the experience even better. There were quite a lot of steps to get around the property, which might be challenging for some guests. I was also surprised by a room service charge that wasn’t mentioned until arrival. Lastly, the pool area could use more than one bartender to help speed up service.

The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Food and drink options were great. The resort is quiet and peaceful with amazing views overlooking the sea. The pools are well.kept and inviting.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

The staff was very friendly and willing to help and the food was amazing.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

Loved everything about this resort, except the food at the buffet. Only thing was the food options on the buffet, it felt like you did not have a choice but to eat what was offered. So we ate at the snack bar often.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

Staff was amazing! My checkin did take awhile til around 445 but they let me hang out at pool and enjoy lunch and drinks before room was ready! They have great activities and the chef is great! Nothing
