Totally misrepresented on line. The area was dirty, no parking available close by. This place is more of a hostel. Totally misrepresented on line. The area was dirty, no parking available close by. Booked 2 beds but had to wait for cleaning lady to clean the room. We didn’t end up staying.

Great location. Breakfast was not on the property which I would have preferred. Breakfast consisted of coffee and a piece of pastry (Italian style of course) very close by. You go with a coupon.

This property is excellent. Best location right next to fish market, and the Main Street of Catania. The lobby has the best roof painting, rooms are all high sealing, with huge spaces. Shower place is a little bit small.

Pinella was a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. The location was central and in the heart of the city. Thank you for a lovely stay. We look forward to returning.

Well located for the airport, welcoming and friendly reception. Charming old building, very clean. We found the mattress to be a bit hard for us, and the plumbing is quite noisy. However, this didn't spoil our stay, we slept well and would definitely return here if visiting Catania again.

I liked the ambiance and the feel of the place. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the building felt safe.

There was no big mirror in the room, only in the bathroom. Also, the light was little bit low

We enjoyed going to the corner cafe and picking out a Cornetto to go with our coffee. We also tried the granita and brioche breakfast. The cappuccino on Tuesday morning was very good! The breakfast offering on Tuesday morning was disappointing. Instead of prepackaged items, something from one of the nearby bread shops would have been a better option.

Wonderful area - close to Ursino Castle, historical center, famous fish market. Very atmospheric and memorable interior of the house and apartment. Homely atmosphere of living. Kind hostess - helped to organize transfer to the port for us and other cruise passengers.

Retro style B&B with beautiful frescoes on the ceiling. The elevator was also a charming old fashion type. Great location, a short walk to many attractions. The gentleman at the reception was very polite, welcoming and helpful. Also, the owner (I believe) was very helpful in helping me find the way to the B&B as I was busing in from Palermo. We had a very comfortable room with all the amenities that we required. Bed was comfortable and there was also a sofa to sit on before calling it a night. Although we did not use it, there was a living room by the reception with reading material and sofas, adding to a homely feel. Nothing really...maybe the entry was a little hard to find, as the intercom buzzer was on the side panel of the main entrance. Once found, it was actually at the usual place with others, and one asks how it could be missed !

Great location, air conditioned room, and there’s a water filter in the apartment, so there’s no need to buy water. It’s a converted apartment, and the bathroom in the room has a water supply system that is a bit noisy.
