The room I stayed in was directly behind the reception desk so it was loud.

Nice decor, comfortable bed, plenty of snacks 24/7, centrally located, accommodating staff. To begin with the building was under construction and it seems unsettling upon entering. Then the excessive noise level when people gather for breakfast, as one could hear my shower while eating and I could hear entire conversations. The hot water was extremely hot and my husband sustained a burn even though the knob was set for moderate temperature. In addition, one needs a flashlight walking up two floors in the dark.

Great Location! Nice Rooms! 3rd floor had to get the luggage up on an electric pulley, and hoped it didn’t break!

It was spacious and clean. And it an excellent location close to everything. And the host was always in communication for any questions/needs. He even set up an excursion for Mt. Etna that was awesome. It was great. I didn’t have any issues

The receptionist was very friendly. He helped with restaurant ideas. The room was clean. Way too expensive for what it offers. It is not a hotel. There are rooms in an old house. They don't have a parking lot. You can park your car on the street. The building does not have an elevator, but there are quite a few stairs. The receptionist helped us carry our suitcases up the stairs. Of course, we carried down them ourselves. Many statues/ornaments were placed in the room. They take a deposit of €200. Probably just in case any of decorations breaks. The closet is not big. The window is small (too small). Heating is with air conditioning. There is a lot if moist in the room. They didn't have breakfast (they did sell it to us) in the building. They gave us coupons for breakfast at a restaurant elsewhere. Which is not a problem... but... Then there waiter says that you don't get breakfast, but only 1 coffee or 1 juice + one pastry of your choice (croissant, brioche). That is not breakfast. They also don't offer free coffee in the room it is 2.5€ nesspreso. The room was clean. But they don't clean it every day during your stay. However, there are no slippers in the room, which hotels usually offer. There is no shampoo and conditioner to wash the hair.

The decorative surroundings of the room and reception area.The building was wonderful. Adrian our host was extremely attentive and helpful.Adrian prepared a fabulous Sicilian breakfast. Parking was priority for us and that was in a locked garage. location is very close to town to walk to attractions. Catania is well worth visiting.

Beautiful and well maintained- very comfortable. Our host (Adriano) was very accommodating and met us nearby to show us the way to the property, and made sure all of our needs were met. The general area was rougher than expected- not a function of the property. Also the booking site said free airport shuttle, and that was not the case- we took a taxi.

The room we had booked was under construction and we were upgraded to a suite with no extra cost. There is a bar outside which has live music. For us it was amazing since we dis not ude the room that was close tonit and we enjoyed the show from the balcony.

The interior design was quite stunning and the rooms had everything we needed as well as a lovely general breakfast room with coffee and snacks available at all times of the day. The welcome Prosecco provided by Adriano our host was a nice surprise also. The fact that we thought it was a hotel but it was really a B&b on the second floor of a very old building with no lift. Probably not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Also we had some dampness in our bathroom and the wall was crumbling.

Our accommodations were rooms off huge common space. Kitchen if you wanted to cook. Living room space that looked over a quiet street. Owners were friendly and very helpful Altho they were only on the premises during the day but could be contacted by phone. It was three flights up and no elevator. Further from center of town but doable if you like to walk. Little grocery store and bakery block away but closed on Sunday. Owners sent our laundry out and returned next day at reasonable price.

The unique Sicilian artworks and decor really make this accomodation stand out. The fact that is was well sized, well equiped and super comfortable made our brief stay memorable. Not complaints here!

The hotel is impressive. Even though out side doesn’t look beautiful . Inside it like an oasis. The neighbor is very safe , with everything close. But for us the asset in the hotel is Adriano. He made our stay perfect, he help with everything we need. He made us wanted to stay there again. It’s more like being in a building than a hotel
