Catania Center B&B

Breakfast was not much but I did not expect anything from it. You get coffee and some sweets. The house lady serving the breakfast was very polite.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. It is very easy to connect with Alfio, and he is very responsive. I very much appreciated his willingness to respond to all my questions and requests. Also, It was easy to find parking spots, but perhaps it was because it's off-season. We personally loved one of the ladies who were there for breakfast - extremely nice and responsive lady! Having in mind the accommodation is very close to the center of Catania, I didn't expect the neighborhood to feel so unsafe and bad. The good thing was that we were no more than 3 to 5 blocks away from the center where it felt different. Also, we requested baby cot, which we couldn't use because there was no mattress, so we ended up with a toddler in our bed for the whole stay.

Access to coffee or tea anytime was great. The breakfast is not really a breakfast. An industrial muffin in a plastic bag is not a breakfast. There was no fresh fruit, no yoghurt, or anything else. It was a very minimalistic breakfast. Tee coffee and juice was nice in the morning. I was disappointed we could not get a refund for 1 night we were unable to get to the B&B due to high winds and weather conditions closing ferry lines from aeolian islands to Sicily. This was an unfoeseen circumstance out of our control. The property as well as booking.com did not seem to care enough to refund the money. We advised them of this issues in advance and as soon as we were made aware of the possible situation. I am very disappointed with this.

Breakfast was to be included but prepackaged muffins were not very appetizing. I would say there really wasn’t a breakfast. The safe in my room didn’t work.

One of the best B&Bs ever! We were impressed with the hospitality and generosity of the host and the place was very comfortable and clean. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommend!

Rooms were immaculate and very thoughtful treats left for guests I thought the entrance into the property was a bit rough but once you got past that and into the guesthouse it was like an oasis.

Close to the main amenities, clean, simple Just a small note we were woken up by knocking at 8:30 am to remind us about breakfast which we thought was a bit odd. But wasn’t a big deal. Soundproofing could be better.

The hosts! We received the most hospitable welcome ever. Very clean, very good location, very easy check in and check out.

Exceptional

The location is close to the main torisitic areas in Catania. You can go to the main train station in 15 min of walking. The staff is extremely polite and helpful, with all you need. Good recommendations for restaurants. There are all the facilities in the room. We enjoyed the stay, and we recommend it. There is an Italian breakfast; that is ok. noting remarcable

We have really enjoyed this B&B! All were perfect! The host is really nice, and he responded all our questions very quickly. Then this apartment is near to all, the Main Street, the train station, and lots of good restaurants. We have even got a bottle of sparkling wine as welcome gift. I recommend a lot this B&B for who want to stay several days in Catania!

Position and easy communication with the team and owner via phone and face to face. They try to accommodate our breakfast requests nicely - The team was too loud in the morning while cleaning and made too much noise. - The car park should not be advertised as available but it should mention it that either you pay extra for a secure parking or you pay to leave it on the street depending on the day and time - There.is not USB unless you plug on the TV but you need to leave the TV on all the time, very inconvenient

Everything was good, the host Alfio was very friendly and helpful for everything. We have great time there ? The building was under construction outside and sometimes was noisy but it will finish soon so the other part was ok.

Lovely B&B, perfectly located in the hearth of the city. Everything can be easily reached on foot. The room as well as the bathroom is quite freshly renovated and comes in a modern style. Comfy double bed, balcony, big flat screen tv, quality shower, shared kitchen , free coffee, water, snacks, welcome drink... There is everything you need. The host was super friendly and supportive. Easy remote check-in, leaving luggage and late checkout was offered as well. I would definitely come again and can highly recommend this place.

Location is near the centre (although not the most central, but good for the value), and the facilities inside the apartment were all very well kept and clean. The instructions to check-in should be sent in advance in written, it can be difficult to arrive there without knowing how to get in. But the host was ready on the phone very fast and also solved an issue with the entrance fast.
