B&B Umberto 134

It was located in the heart of Catania, in a spot where we could walk everywhere. The historic apartment building where the property was located was charming right from the entrance. The host was very kind. Even though breakfast wasn’t included in our reservation, he treated our son to croissants. On the first day, he came with me to the parking lot right next to the apartment and showed me how to pay. These were the little details that made us feel right at home. We were there at the end of May, and no difficulties to find a spot in the parking lot any time. Everything was great—thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at B&B Umberto 134. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. We highly recommend this B&B and would gladly stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The building was very unique but the apartment had all the modern facilities. Luciano was very professional and helped with getting the cars in the private parking. The building architecture was really interesting and it was close to many shops and restaurants. Driving to the area was kind of difficult on the crowded narrow streets, but any thing close to the downtown area would be the same. the private parking was good.

The room waz very large. The beds were large and comfortable. My queen bed actually had a queen mattress instead of 2 mattresses pushed together.

Although we stayed only for one night, our experience at B&B Umberto was truly wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect — just a few minutes’ walk from Via Etnea and Catania Duomo, and only about 300 meters from the airport bus stop. It couldn’t be more convenient! I was traveling with my mother and my daughter, and we all loved the spacious, bright room — the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the high ceilings of this beautiful historic building created a wonderful sense of space and elegance. The two lovely terraces, including one attached to the bathroom, were a charming bonus. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and thoughtfully arranged. The manager was incredibly kind, attentive, and always available to help — his genuine hospitality made our short stay feel warm and memorable. I would definitely choose this accommodation again for my next visit to Catania — this time for a longer stay. A perfect place combining comfort, cleanliness, and an unbeatable location! Everything was perfect! ☺️

Location is good. Next to a parking lot. The area feels a bit sketchy but I guess that is just Catania. Shower had some issues. Water only came out from the shower head and not from above.

Wonderful B&B hotel with a luxurious, modern room with great balcony. Luciano took great care of all guests and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is not to be missed with fresh bakery. Location is really good within a short walking distance to the city. Private parking was very convenient. Easier and cheaper than to find one of the blue parking spots. Highly recommended! Not a negative and did not affect us, just be aware: Since it is in the city, you can hear noises from nearby restaurants or streets.

Owner/manager was helpful but impatient. Unusual location. Difficult to find and access. Quirky but clean and comfortable. Area of town is questionably safe, particularly at night. Significant street noise.

Our room at B&B Umberto 134 was much better than expected. It was huge with high ceilings and two small balconies. It is in a busy part of town but once you close the windows and shades, it is surprisingly quiet! We did not have the breakfast so cannot comment on it but they do offer breakfast for an additional cost. They have parking on the street which was hard to find but they also have a private parking area for a small additional fee which was totally worth it. We would definitely recommend B&B Umberto 134! The location was perfect, close to the city center and overlooking a small square. The B&B is located in an old Palazzo and the interior is restored to perfection. The room was clean and spacious, and the host, Luciano took care of us, including setting up the breakfast and bringing fresh baked goods and pastries. 10/10
