Good location, clean and comfortable beds None

Breakfast at nearby cafe was very good, would have been helpful knowing what voucher was good for before we went. As others have mentioned, rooms overlook a very busy market that starts setting up in the early hours so can be noisy. Location was excellent in terms of walking distance to attractions and was very convenient to bus stop. Area was a bit seedy, and building was hard to find, but once inside interior was much better than exterior.

Great value for money! Close to both the bus and train stations! It is a bit tricky to reach the apartment through the stall market, but you quickly adjust to it :)

The owner was very helpful and offered me transport to Centro Sicilia at better rates than other taxi companies. Even waited for me while shopping. On my departure day as I was leaving late that night he made arrangements for me to stay in the same room for an extra charge.

Did not have the breakfast experience. I did not have a phone and was travelling when emails sent for codes and thankfully another guest was kind enough to help us get into the building and check us in. It was a little shocking because we arrived as the market closed and it looked a little sketchy but it turned out to be a great location and totally safe. What would be an option to check in without telephone or internet

Hosts were very hospitable. Took care of us, arranged Etna and Taormina day trip, checked in with us daily to make sure everything is going well. Location is perfect, right at the main piazza. breakfast was at the Cafe around the corner. everything is convenient from here. bus stop is in front of the Cafe. vendors right outside of the building. loud until late night.

It is close to the city center, wonderful corridor, nice, tidy, well-equipped rooms. Kettle and tea, mineral water prepared. Double soundproof curtains. Equipped bathroom, bidet. Symbolic but delicious breakfast in a nearby cafe. You can't park in front of the house, because the market vendors unload at dawn. The street is not very trustworthy, it is littered. However, this did not spoil our mood, we would go back.

The communication with the host was excellent, we have received all necessary advices on how to get to the location, where to park our car. The public parking is just around the corner. The host waited for us in front of the building for easy finding the apartment. The rooms were very comfortable, equipped with a small fridge, security box, water, kettle, tea, towels, toiletries. Beds were comfortable. What is also an advantage of the apartment is the location - close to the city center, walking distance to the Catania cathedral, Teatro Bellini and different restaurants and bars. It is a great place to explore Catania. Nothing actually to point out.

I had been stolen in this hotel. The staff stole my money from the Safe. And the same happened with my friend in another room at the same time.

The host appears to own or manage the entire floor of the building. Rooms were side by side, well equipped and clean. Ideal if travelling in group or with family. Access to the facility was a little difficult due to markets being located directly out front of the building in the street below. The markets are there up until 1pm - so arrival is easier after that time. There was no noise heard from the market set up or dismantle. Markets included fresh fruit & veg, shoes and clothing etc.

The room was okay It was very difficult to enter the building and there were many steps to follow with very unclear descriptions. The host appeared 3h later than what he had said and made us pay the room at his own desired time. The location is not very comforting and as young adults we felt very unsafe. The breakfast was a piece of paper where we had to go to a bar and order there (only available for the stay in the hotel a piece of bakery and one thing to drink). The worst thing was probably the location and the entrance to the building because of the sketchy neighbourhood. Everyday there is a market happening right under the room, meaning there is a lot of fuss and no peace and quiet. The cheapness is not worth it! SPEND SOME EXTRA MONEY ON A BETTER PLACE AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

Location is above busy cheasy market. The place was quiet just between 2-6 AM. We also didn't understand this part of the city as safe. But the place was okay so far. Price/value balance was acceptable. Property is old, not very maintained, location is nothing you travel for. But the vibe of the local life is there I guess authentic.

Awoken to Daily market,difficult to leave the Building for the market stalls.Litter and rubbish a permanent feature.

The room was very clean with all the facilities but I didn't know that the location was exactly at the street of the market and we had to rooms booked at the same site and we had to split and one room was three doors up the road

central location, located right on the market, windows are isolated so no disturbing noises, the room was clean even we got cleaning and fresh towels after the second day, room and bathroom were big, bed was comfortable, airconditioner for heating as well, friendly and helpful staff, we could leave our luggage there after check out till 17.30 and we got a separate key for this, good explanation how to enter the room, tips for restaurant and places to visit
