The apartment was spacious, modern, and clean. The staff were helpful with parking and self-checking, as well as in the morning with a wonderful breakfast buffet. The location was a little further away from the historical center, and in the midst of a very large open market. It would be perfect for those who love to shop open markets.

We booked as a family of three for one night but there was onlu one bed which wasn't enough for all of us. It was not comfortable. Also we barely slept because of the noise in the street in front of the rooms. There is a local market during the day and all night long there were loud noises and people chatting loudly. It looks like a really weird street area, very dirty. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The room and the bed were too small.
-
The building it is in is covered in graffiti; the streets in the area are dirty. Although this is not the fault of the hotel, it made the stay unpleasant. Of course, much of Catania is covered in graffiti.

When I arrived I did not like that the street was dirty and dark, the next day I realized it is located by the market. The atmosphere changes completely during day and night.

The room was nice and clean, breakfast decent, and the staff friendly and helpful. We also found the location very convinient, with public transport within reach and with nice restaurants and places to visit nearby. There were too many stairs and the elevator didn't work on several occasions. Given that I was recovering from a broken foot, this was rather inconvenient.

The location was near all the tourist things to see. However, while not unsafe, it was a block or two off the main area & appeared more dirty & seedy. It was fine though even after dark (but not late). We were unaware that property was a BnB rather than a hotel. Booking.com is now putting all types of properties on their website so just be sure you know what you’re getting.

The room is big, very clean, all was ready for us The location is tough, right above the market and not the best neighborhood... So there was plenty of noise all the time, late in the night as well as very early when they started to set up the market

The room was good (we stayed 1 night) and the staff was polite. I rated it for 8 because it appears that people only read positive reviews. In fact, I'd give it 0 just because of bad experience . Do not recommend this place. Parking. The car was evacuated, have to pay 90e. First of all, hotel shows on Booking they have a parking, but they dont have private parking. Second, they sent information in the chat and address for the paid parking area, but instructions are not detailed enough. We left the car on the street paid parking area at the given address and payed for the night. As we discovered in the morning - that was wrong parking, and because of the market all machines were evacuated from that place. The staff helped to find the car and tell us address. But you have to pay fine 90 euro after all. Hotel location is not safe, looks like a getto. Early morning the huge gypsy market starts, it's noisy and crowded.

The room was clean and everything was OK. The hostess was very nice and caring ,difficult to find a better one. The breakfast and location were very good . My only regret regarding this apartment is that it was advertised as having facilities for disabled guests!!! Far from the truth, because, as you can see from the photos attached, one has to go up a flight of 10 steps. Can you imagine one using a wheelchair going up and down? If it wasn't for my husband and the porter or passerby, I would have been stranded.

The location is perfect for walking around the city. The building is in the middle of the market. The breakfast was great, sufficient choices for us. The staff are very nice ladies who provide me information about airport transportation. The market starts early but it didn’t bother me.

Nice location, very clean and safe apartment. Small but functional. It was nice to see the market coming to life in the morning. A bit small and out of date. Very noisy in the streets at night. Breakfast was very late.
