Hotel Manganelli Palace

My nephew and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. We were upgraded to a Superior Room, which was incredibly spacious. It easily accommodated all of our luggage and gave us plenty of space to unpack and spread out without ever feeling crowded. On of thee highlights of our stay was the highly efficient air conditioning. Being able to control the room temperature directly from our room made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Unparalleled hospitality from Stephania!! Our breakfast experience was absolutely unforgettable, all thanks to Stephania. She is exceptionally attentive and possesses a rare gift for hospitality that sets her apart from anyone else. Stephania didn't just serve us, she anticipated our every need before we had to ask, brining a warm genuine energy that instantly brightened our entire morning. Her flawless memory and perfect timing made us feel incredibly valued and cared for. Each morning, Stephania remembered my dietary preference for cappuccino with soy milk and lactose free yogurt. If you are lucky enough to have Stephania hosting you for breakfast, you are truly in for an unparalleled experience. Thank you Stephania, for making our stay so special! Our concierge Guiseppi was equally warm and welcoming as Stephania. Following his excellent advice, my nephew and I ended up dining at Street 54 restaurant for 3 out of our 8 day stay . We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for top notch service and truly welcoming experience. Top notch service and staff very attentive and welcoming!!!!

Clean and comfortable room. Good location. It was advertised with parking and I had requested parking in a message to which there was no response. When I got there the reception staff said the parking was full so I parked legally on the street. She said I should pay via an app in the morning (which sounded pretty complicated for a non Italian speaking person). Anyway that was not even needed as I got a ticket the same evening I arrived at 22:08 which was a Sunday night. Anyway good place to stay but parking was a poor experience.

The breakfast was also great with many choices. The rooms are a bit outdated.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Manganelli Palace. The hotel is located conveniently close to all the major sightseeing highlights of Catania. Staff was very friendly and the room spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Catania.

The location was perfect to walk to the historical center and shops. The breakfast had a great assortment of all types of savory and sweet items. The staff was always kind and helpful.

Everything Nothing!

Great location to historical area, University area, shopping, and restaurants.

Beautiful 400 year old hand painted ceiling, spacious room, convenient parking. Great terrace open to all hotel guests, nice breakfast. Easy walk to tourist areas A little confusing to get in front door, have to take lift to 4th floor to reception

The location. And the staff. Amazing warm, welcoming and very helpful staff that makes you feel at home from the minute you walk in this place. The rooms was spacious and well insulated from the noise of the busy street our grand room was facing. The original ceiling dating 400 years back was magnificent. The staff at the reception and the restaurant areas were so nice, they were the reason we came back to this hotel for our last night before flying out from Sicily back home.

The hotel is perfectly situated, near everything you need. There is a private parking but better to order in advance cause there are only 4 places. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful! The room was huge, clean and with a nice ceiling paintings. Highly recommended.

Lift & breakfast It was good

It was a perfect place for us to stay after 2 weeks in Sicily and the Amalfi coast. Easy access to the airport, friendly and helpful staff and delicious breakfast.

Staff is friendly, Rooms are fairly good size and decorated very nicely. Lobby is small and the dinning area is small. We stayed in one night and the stay is ok. The location is fantastic closer to major touristy area. One night is not enough to explore the touristy areas. I will go back again. What I don't like is when you go out for dinner or to see the touristy place, you have to surrender your room key. When you get back they give the key back to you, The problem is that somebody has to open the main door for you to come in to the hotel. We were out for dinner and we have to wait and the main door for about 20 minutes to get the main door open there were about 3 families waiting out side the door to get in to the hotel. That is the only complaint that I have.

Room 405 was magnificent!! Such a pleasure to enjoy the ambience of the room and architecture of the ceiling . The hotel was clean and all the staff both professional, kind and friendly. The position of the hotel was central. Most especially we would like to commend Stephania, the girl that provided our breakfast every day. Such a beautiful, kind and organized person who was a high light of our stay.

Aside the great location, large quiet room, comfortable bathroom and good value was the quality of the staff. Everyone was really nice and made us feel genuinely at home. We were particularly grateful to Massimo who helped us get reservations at two great restaurants in the area at short notice and was generally very helpful to us. If we find ourselves in Catania again we will stay here.

The 24 hour staff was wonderful; helpful, cheerful, professional. The property accommodated several special requests. The rooms are huge, the location perfect. The breakfast was exceptional-spinach tart, ham and cheese croissants, a variety of baked goods, and fresh squeezed juice and perfect coffee. It is a very elegant hotel from yesterday that is grand and well kept.

Perfectly located in the center of Catania, this palazzo with frescoed ceilings is a lovely place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast, on the patio. Private parking on site.
