The room was bright, minimalistic and both room an bathroom were very clean so we could feel like at home?. Inventory was modern and because of hot weather we also really appreciated the air conditioner?. The communication was transparent, the host was very nice and easy to contact. Because of location outside of the city centre one has to walk a little bit more (or take a bus), but it is also a quieter district with a lot of cozy (non-touristic) cafes and pubs in the surroundings.

nice location can hear everything what’s happening in other rooms. also sometimes it was very hard to use the lock on my door..

Very kind and helpful owners, the room is very comfortable with modern decoration and appliances. The a/c worked great, which made for a good night’s slee. They were kind enough to provide shuttle service to the airport for my very early flight.

i cannot say much. it was perfect. more than comfortable, very nice staff, nice area!

Clean place. We paid for breakfast, but never got it. The owner doesn't speak English at all.

The room was clean and comfortable, everything there was good, including bed and bathroom. The place of the hotel is quiet and not so far from Villa Bellini (10 min). Hostess was very kind and ready to help (unlike host of the hotel) well, the host of the hotel is a very strange person. He provides hotel service to you, but he obviously doesn't want to communicate with you properly. I mean, this person doesn't even try to explain something to you on english (or at least with gestures). It is clear for me, that some people don't speak english, but he didn't use even numbers on english. Instead of that he was trying to teach us italian (really!). So this person doesn't do anything to help you understand him or to understand you. Instead of communicating he is just being angry, because you don't speak italian. We had a problem with hot water in our room and this guy made a stress situation from this instead of just trying to solve the problem. actually the problem was solved really fast once we contacted hostess. She was very kind again. So, many persons wrote here, that host of the hotel is really strange. You need to understand, that it is totally true. You can ignore this fact, but if you will get any problems/questions, you need to be ready that he won’t try to help you (maybe you have chances if you speak Italian). Or you can contact hostess right away and communicate with her Anything else (especially room itself) was really good, nothing to complain

Quiet location, perfect for a 2 night stay . Clean and comfortable

super nice room incl. bathroom, excellent condition, super nice people, super secure and central.

It is rather close to everything so you can easily walk. Many stores and restaurants/cafés are nearby. We did not have hand soap on the first day, but they did a refill the next day. The floor gets messy easily due to the dust in the city which you bring in inevitably, so bringing some slippers would be recommended for future visits.

The room was very clean and well equipped. We especially liked the fact that it was quiet during the night. Mr. Enzo (one of the owners) made a very bad impression right from the beginning. There was miscommunication regarding the time of our arrival, which led to a chaotic situation, especially because other guests came in the meantime. Mr. Enzo couldn’t clearly handle this situation efficiently and became very impatient. Moreover, the property couldn’t offer us breakfast, due to the COVID-19 situation, despite the price including breakfast already. We tried to explain Mr. Enzo that they should subtract the breakfast price, but he didn’t speak English and didn’t have enough patience to speak Italian with my boyfriend, so that we can clarify everything. The situation got better once we called Donatella (the other owner). All in all, I can say that we wasted 1.5 hours with the check-in, which turned out to be a disaster. Mr. Enzo was very rude with us, especially after seeing our Romanian IDs. He also spoke badly of us while calling Donatella; he somehow forgot that my boyfriend understands Italian. What bothered us the most was Mr. Enzo’s negative attitude, thinking that we are Romanian trouble makers. In fact, the only thing we wanted to clarify was paying less money, because serving breakfast was not possible.

I had a pleasant stay in Residenza Del Turista. Donatella and her husband are always willing to help you however they can. Donatella speaks good English and Eventhough her husband doesnt speaks it, he tries the best to help. Moreover, the B&B has a great location, near to a bus stop and city centre is like 5 minutes away. Overall the property is safe, clean and has a good value for money. Recommended! ??

The object is situated in a great location providing an easy access to the main attractions of Catania. Our room and the amenities were clean, the bed was comfortable and the AC helped to withstand the heat. The host was super helpful and very kind - highly recommend. Can't say a bad word

The BB is located not that far from city center. The area is pretty quiet. The room was big enough, the same as the bed. The bathroom and shower were clean. Donnatella and her husband were there to greet us when we arrived. They were more than happy to answer our questions. Donnatella gave us a map of the city and this was very helpful in finding our way around Catania. Also the air conditioning was a good thing to have as it could get quite warm during the night. It's not something I didn't like, it's more a suggestion: a small fridge would be great in the room.
