B&B Etna's Tourist

Very friendly and accomadating host!

I mainly didn't like the location. The view of the room was not very pretty as it looked out into an older neighborhood and the location didn't feel very safe. It's also hard to find and I got lost.

We did not receive breakfast so I cannot comment on that. I loved that we were right next to the bus station. And walking distance to the food stations near the bus station that was open at 4 am. They also had a taxi service. I wish there was a view of Etna from our room. We were able to walk to the beautiful center of the city to view Etna. Our building was not a beautiful one. But the rooms were clean, comfortable and safe. And convenient to catch a bus or taxi to the airport.

It was a thrilling experience for me. I loved Italy and Italians and I can’t wait to get back there.

The position was good

Strong chemical smell was a double edge: one one hand the place was immaculately clean on the other hand we had to vent the room to reduce the smell so we could sleep. The open window drew in some dust.

Decent enough location to bus station and city centre. The room didn't get cleaned during my time there, even once during my stay would have helped.

The property is clean and comfortable. It is located walking distance to historic district as well as train and bus station. Staff was very accommodating. Nothing

The location is very close to The Train and Bus station which makes it great for going to and from the airport There is no manned reception so they were in contact via Booking messages and WhatsApp to get an arrival time and insist on a time because of this. This is OK good contact and communication. From street level it's a steel caged entry door. Small sign on the security buzzer button selection for Etna B&B It's a short narrow street limited parking if you come by car or taxi The place is located on the third 3 floor access by a buzzer door system and there is a lift and stairs up the clean communal areas Great by a young man and I was able to leave my bags as I was early... He checked me in and I paid the cash 2 euros tourist tax The room is comfortable with a double bed, small TV hanging space for clothes and table and chairs a small balcony. Which seems to be used for smoking even though it's non smoking. I was aware that some previous guests had smoked as I could smell it in the room which was disappointing As a non smoker this was anooying But this was a one night budget stay Shower was good in a compact room with toiletries and thin towels It is a budget stay and fits the bill for that It was OK for my needs of a budget one night stay and convenient location The smell of smoke that was lingering in my room from the previous guests. If it's non smoking don't leave ashtrays for smokers There are notes on the walls about the air conditioning.. Which did not work I could not switch it on About leaving the room with the TV air-conditioning switched on

Easy to find, next to local transportation and near lots of restaurants and cafes, host was very nice. -

There was no breakfast. The room had the barest essentials and nothing else, not even a glass for water. As above

Nice and clean room, location is great, next to the central station and couple minutes walk from center.

The name of the accomodation is not compatible with B&B symbol, because breakfast has not been serfved. By the thru the owner informed me about the fact in separet letter, after the booking fee has been payd. B&B symbol ought to withtdraw.

Highly recommend for travellers to airport !

The location is good especially in case when you arrive by bus and when you have to catch a plane early in the morning. The rooms and the bathrooms was clean. This late check in, after 16:00 is absolutely unacceptable! The welcoming staff do not speak English and communication is difficult. There is a problem with the electricity and more than two air conditioners cannot work together and we had rented the whole apartment.
