Bed, Book & Breakfast Landolina

This property has real character. Really felt at home and comfy. Diego is very warm, welcoming and helpful host. I felt like I had a real Catania Italian experience. Breakfast was wonderful!Definitely gets 10/10 from me.

Located in an easily walkable central location, It was beautiful, quaint, and uniquely decorated with books and art. The host was friendly, attentive, accommodating and easily accessible for assistance. The delightful breakfast exceeded our expectations. We felt very well taken care of here and would absolutely stay again. I have no negative comments.

Our hosts have thought of everything from tissues, to books, to cleaning each day! Breakfast was a wonderful spread that included local foods and homemade items! There is nothing we did not like.

The location was perfect a minute from the airport bus stop, 15 minutes from the train station and minutes from the main attractions. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, I loved the tote bag left in the room for you to use when shopping and the commitment to being environmentally conscious. Absolutely nothing.orher than I had to leave to come home.

Diego has created a welcome B&B, decorated cleverly and artistically especially for book lovers! Comfortable bed and spacious room, delicious breakfast. Very helpful and accommodating host! We’d love to return! Everything was great!

Honestly, no need for improvement. I know some folks complained about the 2 flights of stairs, but those are what give you the lovely view from the balcony and Diego helped me with my bags up and down. I found the area to be safe. There was some noise in the evenings from folks partying down the street, but that would be true of any lodging close to the center. I thought it was all fabulous.

Loved the book concept (we stayed in the Jules Verne room) and the delicious breakfast spread. Had a spacious room with balcony. It's a central location for sightseeing and a reasonable walk from the central station, and the bus to the Catania Airport stops right across the street. Helpful host put out some pastries for us for the morning of our pre-breakfast departure. A bit of traffic noise from the main street below, but not bad. Lots of graffiti in the area, if that bothers you.

The b&b is very clean and well located and Deigo the host extremely kind for everything information you may need.

The hosts were wonderful and served an excellent breakfast! Nice to be surrounded by books and to be so welcomed. Too many stairs but the host carried our bags up and down the stairs, which was so helpful.

Superb example of an owner operated bed & breakfast. Decor, location, hospitality, breakfasts and service Guest rooms would benefit from the addition of luggage racks.

The B & B was in a perfect location for sight seeing. Diego was very helpful for providing directions and recommendations. The breakfast provided consisted of authentic Sicilian pastries, cheese, meat and fruit. Delicious. Our room was bright and cheerful with a wraparound terrace. The owners did a wonderful job decorating this B & B with thoughtful and personal details! For me personally, I found the bed and the pillows on the hard side.

A great location and a beautiful room. Comfortable bed and loved the decor and book theme.

Clean

This is a fantastic location by the main area, bus and trains. We walked everywhere. It was clean and a big room. Breakfast was fantastic and makes everything better. There is a fridge you could use and microwave. Plenty of storage and hangers. Air worked well. We stayed 3 nights and would stay again. It could be a spec noisy at times. Water temp wasn’t super hot. You can’t flush tp. ( they empty trash daily). Towels could be a little softer. FYI. There are stairs up to the room.

this place is the best so far I have stayed in Sicily islands! The host is super friendly and the breakfast is fantastic! You have to stay here if you visit Catania!

Location was excellent The husband and wife that owned the property were excellent. The breakfast was phenomenal. They were very helpful and very, very friendly. Look forward to staying there again.
