Location There is nothing I didn’t like about the property. It was heat wave so AC was not cooling the room efficiently

The staff was so friendly and helpful! The room was beautiful and comfortable! The first entrance you see on your way up to the hotel room is a scary looking courtyard. It's dark, dirty and in bad shape. I think if a little effort was made improving that area, it would go far to make a better first impression. Maybe add some plants, lighting, signs? Didn't realize there wasn't an elevator. Our luggage was heavy to bring up 2 flights of stairs, but we made it.

The hotel is new and the owner is still getting up to speed. Insist on daily towel changes and internal locking. The owner was very pleasant and kind and did everything he could to make our stay memorable.

Nice ceilings. They gave us 3 bottles of water AC barely works and took many hours before the room was at an acceptable temperature. Wifi signal was poor The bed was really short There was a fridge in the middle of the room.
-
The AC in the room was not great, so we were very, very hot whenever we were in the room.
-
We found one live and one dead cockroach in the room and the air conditioning did not appear to work well.

The bed superb. The bathroom excellent. Very happy with service. All good.

We were welcomed by Carmela, a truly wonderful person. Unfortunately l got food poisoning on day 2 and she really looked after me, even went to the chemist with my partner to get me medicine. The Owner was very helpful and provided any info that we needed. Contact was available over What's up. Room/mattress/pillows were very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was typical Italian. Coffee, ? yogurt, ham and cheese .Location was good, an easy 10 minute walk to the center. Only 10 minute drive from the airport with a taxi ,€22 (owner will give you a Nr for a cheaper taxi) It is a long walk to the central train/bus station for doing day trips outside the city, but you can take a city bus from Piazza Borslina (10min walk from the room. €1.40 each way) The trip is quick and you arrive right next door to the Interbus station where you can take day trips to many places.

One of the highlights of our experience was the Italian breakfast. Every morning, it was beautifully prepared, fresh, and diverse, catering to our taste. A special mention goes to delightful Carmela, who not only kept the place impeccably clean but also took great care in serving the breakfast. Her warmth, attention to detail, and friendly smile truly made us feel at home. The overall hospitality was exceptional, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Catania. Thank you, Carmela and signor Savio, for making our stay memorable!

Friendly and helpful staff. The location was ideal. Our door (nr 4) was not sound proof. The shower head could be replaced to provide an even, non-harsh spray.

the placeis gorgeous and very good located in one of the streets leading to the city center which is reacheable by walk. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast is ok. They cleaned the room what was nice of them Check-in could be easier as when we arrived we had to make it calling to the staff.

The property with the ceiling frescoes really gave the property an authentic old world charm with the vaulted very high ceiling, and the furnishings were charming. Not to far from main centre of town which is convenient and parking on-site is handing only if you're brave enough to tackle to paper thin squeeze through their gates off a busy street, but parking is an asset. What really stood out however was the hospitality of the most lovely Italian lady, who mothered us each morning for breakfast and you felt like a guest in her home, and the front desk was equally outstanding. Would have ideally liked a two rooms with two large beds, not two queen beds in one large room, but we realise everything comes at a cost.

Location is close to city center. Arriving around noon, we were lucky to find parking on blue zone which was 2.90 eur for half day which was great. We stayed in room no 6, it is a bit small, but for one night it is ok. Breakfast was fine, italian style more sweet than salty, but nothing special. Room was clean and no strange smell considering it's old town. There is no air condition, so during summer it may be a real challenge, for us in sep was ok-ish. A bit noisy in the morning hours if the room is on the same side with breakfast room, but it's mentioned that quiet hours are until 8 am.

The location is great - it is close to the city centre, and everything is within walking distance. The owner/manager was helpful, she helped us with transport from the airport and public transport, thank you for everything Maria Angela :). The room was big with a comfortable bed, there was water every day. The breakfast was ok - enough pastry, bread, cereals, yoghurts - essentials. Nothing

It is a beautiful property and very comfortable. We were a party of 6, so we booked two rooms. There was plenty of space for us all. Mariangela and the staff are all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. No complaints!
