The property was beautiful and clean. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The host were also very, very helpful and accommodating in every way. Breakfast was also made to order and was fresh and delicious. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area and explore Catania. No shortcomings at all!

This B&B property is located on a quiet side street within a short walk to restaurants. It is totally updated Nothing has been overlooked in making guests stay comfortable. The owners are a lovely couple who do everything they can to ensure a good stay. No elevator. Although owner carried luggage.

Beautiful restored historical home! Extremely comfortable and extremely clean! Lovely hosts proud of where they live. Go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable! The breakfasts amazing fresh ingredients and fresh squeezed orange juice. Close to everything and within walking distance to all restaurants and shopping and things to see! Nothing it was amazing! The hosts were extremely lovely people wish we could have stayed longer they made you feel like family!

What a beautiful property! Every detail is so thoughtfully designed and high end. The owners could not have been more helpful and kind. The property is in a perfect location and an easy walk to all historic and shopping areas.

After a month of travel in Sicily, Ciuri di Strata was a welcome respite. It was elegant and wonderfully imagined: the bedding was extremely comfortable, the room, elegant and restful, the breakfasts, delicious. The very interesting hosts created a lovely atmosphere and were very kind.

Walking distance to restaurants, entertainment, sights to visit. Quiet, comfortable and good size room. Just the early check out.

The hosts were amazing, the room and bathroom was large and spacious. Their homemade breakfasts were the best we have had while traveling in Italy!

Accommodations are outstanding. The host and hostess are so welcoming and helpful. Excellent!

Our flight was canceled and we were so fortunate to get an early accommodation at this impecably renovated, clean and magnificent B&B. Our gracious hosts, Alessandra and Guiseppe, were onsite to welcome us and orient us to the B&B and city, compete with maps and recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. Our large room and rainshower bath was gorgeous with velvet furnishings, 15-20 foot intricately painted ceiling, mosaic tile floor, balcony overlooking a lovely garden, beautiful artwork and the most comfortable bed with fine Italian linens. It was a quiet oasis in the middle of busy Catania. Our made to order breakfast was equally as impressive...Fresh orange juice with ginger, fruit and avacado toast for me. A full scrambled egg breakfast with toast, meats, cheeses and jams for my husband. Absolutely delicious and beautifully served. Thank you Alessandra and Giuseppe for the most wonderful stay and your warm hospitality. Nothing.

Beautifully decorated with the lushest bath towels I’ve seen in a long time. Great attention to detail. The owner was very helpful with local recommendations. Nothing.

The rooms and building are absolutely gorgeous, everything has been recently refreshed. The pictures don't do justice to the remarkably high level of detail that went into every aspect of this very carefully renovated building. The rooms are not only beautiful but also very comfortable and we slept very well in the comfy beds and rooms with high ceilings. Everything is very quiet (with the exception of the main door, which can be heard at times). The hosts are extremely kind and attentive to details, helping us make every aspect of our stay as enjoyable as it could have been, from restaurant recommendations to helping us organise a Tour to Mount Etna. Breakfast is prepared à la carte and with very high levels of attention to detail as well. As a very minor detail, some confusions of foods ordered for breakfast (e.g. scrambled instead of fried eggs, but they were also super tasty).

Great location and many restaurants around. Within walking distance to everything. As mentioned to our hosts better bread would have been appreciated. Also even though you order the details of your breakfast in advance it should be possible to ask for simple things on the day like a croissant. I also didn’t appreciate being ignored at the breakfast table when the male host was only speaking to my partner, to explain things I didn’t ask for.

The location is superb. The room is gorgeous and very specious. The breakfast was fantastic The owners are some of the nicest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. Parking is difficult to find in this area
