Amazing croissant every morning Just weather!

The room was very clean, and Fabio was a great host. He is very friendly and recommended many good places to go. The only thing was that it was a bit of a walk to get to the metro station, but it was not too far.

The host Fabio was very kind, attentive and knowledgeable of the city and the surroundings which is a big plus, since you can ask him anything and he can recommend you many things. Also, the accommodation itself was very comfortable, spacious and the bed was very comfy!

An interesting host running a charming guesthouse, Fabio showed the utmost hospitality during my 5-night stay in Catania. Although he is not stationed at the property he was ever quick to respond even at odd times. Breakfast was brought every morning fresh from a local bakery, and Fabio made sure I had something different every morning. Though there are no kitchen facilities, there is large common space with microwave and coffee machine for eating and socialising. The balcony of rooms 1/2 commands a spectacular view of the cityscape and the sea, and there was so much sunshine even though it was December. The location is somewhat non-central, but should be very accessible for those who drive, and though I had no car, I was able to get in town and back twice a day on average thanks to the underground station that is only 10 minutes’ walk away. Verily THE best part of my holiday in Catania. Warmly recommended to everyone that visits Catania for whatever reason. Nil

The amazing place. Rooms, service, location everything is on 5-star level. Thank you Fabio. The place is not in the city center - personally for me it is benefit - you are not in the noisy and dirty area. Excellent starting point if you are going to visit other cities - Taormina, Syracuse and so on. Rooms are clear and well done arranged. The bathroom is so big. It is like a different living room :) Service - Fabio what to say. You are very cool guy and make everything to satisfy the guests wish. Disappointing

Rooms were very nice and clean, every day cleaned , breakfast very good - coffee and croissant. The owner was very helpful, give some tips what is to visit in Catania and other places. Maybe only localisation was to far from centre but if you have a rent car is no problem.

Extremely kind owner, always willing to fulfil any needs you may have. Delicious breakfast, arguably the best I have ever had in a b&b or hotel. A lot of breakfast-typical products (like milk, honey, bread, biscuits etc) and you can try different sweet typical from Sicily, of very high quality. The room is wonderful and perfectly clean, it has a balcony and of course individual bathroom. I'm amazed by La Casa del Viaggiatore. Everything was just perfect

Cleanliness: option for the room to be cleaned daily. View: the accommodation is at the top of a hill so it gives a nice view of the sea and mountains in the distance Comfort: the bed was very comfortable Breakfast. It was minimal. A croissant (or similar) and a coffee The clothes hanger: there is a plastic clothes hanger to put your clothes on to dry, but the hanger is small, plastic and cheap and doesn't fit anywhere without falling.
