There are broken things inside the room but not so much of a big deal.

Its strategic location within the city (walking distance to amenities and strip malls) and how kind and considerate the staff were! The one in charge of communicating with us for the booking made it very easy for us to do early checkin, leave our baggage securely at the front desk, and use the amenities even after checkout with no additional cost. Just a small leak in the toilet of the male dormitory but nothing more than that

The decor is lovely. I grew up in Cebu so entering the space felt like dimension hopping. City to peaceful haven in a sec! Staff are kind and warm. The yoga studio is beautiful. It looked more like a yoga chapel. The one class I attended was amazing! They have classes everyday. There’s a restaurant nearby that serves pasta and pizza. Walking distance to Banilad Town Center for more food and drink options. Grocery. Julie’s bakeshop for the win! Toilet is clean. Quiet. Nice energy. I stayed in the female dorm and the first night, the air freshener was too strong. I had a hard time sleeping. I used my eye cover over my nose. There is no airflow. Also, the aircon i think needs servicing. It was not cold. Shower pressure is weak and the shower drain needs a deep clean. The smell is unpleasant.

Love the location, its situated in a safe and secured and peaceful subdivision. I love the design of the hostel, they also conduct yoga classes upstairs. I also love the fact that they serve high protein smoothie. The staff are friendly and nice, they always greet you with a smile. The owner with her cute kids is also present in the hostel, she's so nice. Bathroom trash could have been disposed everyday. Other than that, everything is all good.

Great staff and owner. Laid back and calm, central and just the place to be. Private room is quite affordable if you want that. Cool interior and even a possible house dog ? (puppy named Dartanion if I remember correct) You should just be aware that Google maps and the building sign may still say "Flying Fish Boutique Hostel". You should find "Eia by Dawata" on Google maps by now.

Michael and his team are doing great. The rooms were comfy and well-maintained. The property is undergoing renovations at the moment but it was no bother at all. The people here go above and beyond to make everyone's stay smooth and enjoyable. Although they have yet to have a functioning bar, there are stores nearby for your drinking needs. The pool is quite a treat especially during a humid day. Can't say enough about Mike and everyone who makes this place run. They're awesome people and I will definitely come back! Nothing, really.

Kind staff and approachable Hoping for resto soon

I like that it is conveniently located to almost everything in the city and how friendly their staff. I understand that it is a shared bathroom but it really needs improvement in terms of cleanliness and the facility itself.

Location My stay at this hotel was disappointing. The staff were unwelcoming, the facilities were not well-maintained, and cleanliness was lacking. Worse, the place was so noisy that we couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. For the price, I could have booked a much better hotel, but it was a last-minute choice—one I truly regret. I wouldn’t recommend this property and won’t be staying here again.

I stayed there for 3 nights and for all the 3 nights I was alone in the dorm room. Also on my last night when I came back from my tour the staff told me that they have shifted my things to some other room as some other big group had booked for the night. It was very annoying to know that they have moved my stuff without my permission. Also you cannot lock the bathroom door from inside.

The beer were out of stock fast, but there is a supermarket nearby.

I could not have asked for more during my stay! I appreciate all the kindness and assistance of the staff and other guests at the hostel. The room was comfortable and cozy with just the right amount of privacy. Its location is also very convenient and far away enough from the city center to afford you some peace and quiet at night and in the morning. I felt at home and unhurried there.

The lobby’s interior makes you think it’s really well thought out. The shared dormitory was clean and cold. The location of the hostel is pretty accessible for other city roam you’re planning. The staff are all accommodating so you won’t have a bad time asking for help or anything. Wished the lockers were fixed and more secured. The wifi in the dormitory room is sometimes spotty.

The place is crappy. The staffs are nice. The staffs are nice and accommodating but the place is crappy. There’s no hot shower, and most of its listed inclusions were not there like I had to ask for tissues and such. I expected more because of its price. The bed was uncomfy as well, hard pillows and very thin blanket. There were loud noises too! They had to fix their termite problems while I was staying in my room. It was awful. The bidet was also leaking so the bathroom’s floor was always wet. The place has poor lighting and not well ventilated. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you wish to have a nice sleep and relax.
