Room is old but very worth for the money in old town center

We stayed for one night in April and had a great time. The place is right in the centre of old town and - as Cefalu is rather small - you will be everythere (incl train station if that matters for you) in no time. It's a beautiful old house located in a picturesque street with a nice balcony overseeing the street. Everything was clean! Moreover, Denis is a great host: Super responsive on the app and ready to assist if needed. He even let us leave our bags the next day and pick them up later. Very much recommended.

Nothing, only the location is awesome and the host was welcoming. The apartment was very outdated, the warm water run out, the light was poorly, felt like living in the cave. I am very sorry, but would not suggest to stay in this, however, if you are looking for cheap options, this could be your next stay.

Good position in old town. The apartment is dirty,smelly and unfortunately is in desperate need of repair and upkeep. There is dust and dirt everywhere. Glass panel in adjoining bedroom door missing, bathroom small, shower hose is ridiculous as water shoots out everywhere, and manager notified and would not repair. Far too expensive for what was is offered, and pictures misleading for what is advertised. The ceiling and walls are sub standard and there is a dirty old orange curtain up high apparently covering a space near the ceiling. There is only a jug, no refrigerator, no utensils. We couldn’t wait to leave.

Cefalù is an expensive and popular city and there were not that many options left at a “reasonable” price. For the price that we paid however (compared to similar Sicilian cities), the room was terrible. There are 3 pixellised pictures on the wall that serve as decor. The bathroom is tight and cramped; not to mention dirty with leftover hair from the previous occupants. But that said, it was one of the cheapest options for Cefalù and the location is great, though there may be better options out there.

Good location, close to main attractions, restaurants, beaches and shops. Comfortable bed and clean sheets. The apartment in general wasn’t clean and the bathroom was very cramped. The bedroom door was missing a large pane of glass.

First the positives: warmly welcomed by the host, a great location on a quiet side street, close to all the main attractions. …….overpriced for what it offered, pictures are misleading, in my room there were no small lamps which left only the main light for use, bathroom smelled of stale urine, bed had no proper mattress protector and the mattress staining was not nice…. Not worth the money…..

Apartments in the city centre - 5 minutes to the beach. Very friendly host, explained everything. It was also possible to leave luggage after check out. Bathroom was new, overall the room was reasonably clean. Also had a good view of the sea from the balcony. Overall fits the description and was great affordable place for a night. You can see that the apartments are quite old, one door had no glass, the door was hard to close. Overall not the newest and cosy accommodation.

Good location if you are without car. Clean bed and shower. Friendly host. Hard to find location, the host doesn't send any information before stay. There is no place to park around, the only options are public parkings near main beach and near train station (which costs 22-24 eur for 24h). As we couldn't reach the location by car, I had to leave it somewhere far and walk to the apartment by foot. When I reached the location, the door was closed, nobody was in. The phone number provided in booking did not connect. I finally managed to reach the host via booking messages and he came in a few minutes. Anyway, the apartment was very dark, the smell from sewage was very bad and all around the flat.. The ceiling in the bedroom was crumbly and cracked, seemed that it could fall anytime.. There were no kettle or even cups/glasses, but the host did bring it when we asked. By the way - no windows in bedroom. Shortly saying - very uncozy stay, we are happy that we stayed there only for one night and wanted to leave the flat as soon as we woke up in the morning.

Good location and clean

We booked this Airbnb last minute when we decided to stay the night in Cefalu. This was the perfect location and the host's response was quick and efficient. A bit difficult to get access but after a phone call, the host arrived within 5 minutes.

The property was immaculate, super convenient location and very friendly service. Couldn’t have been happier.

Great location, great value for money. The room was incredibly spacious with a balcony, small dining area and large bedroom. The aircon was a lifesaver and worked perfectly. The host was so amazing! Gave us an umbrella for the beach. Was so kind and helpful. Our shower didn’t stay hot for long but wasn’t an issue in the Italian heatwave summer, but that’s really the only negative.
