Staff was unfriendly, bath room door was broken, bed sheets were cheap and smell, when we book 5 people in the room , we need a sofa , but we checked in, sofa was not available.
-
However, the key card system to get into the room did not work well. We had to swipe our card multiple times to be able to get in, even when we switched out cards. The worst part was that they dont stock shower towels in the room. I thought it was just a mistake in our room but I heard two other guests complain as well. The hotel didnt even have any to give him when he asked for them. What hotel does not keep enough towels on hand? This hotel gave me the feeling of me staying in an apartment ran by slum lords who refuse to provide the bare minimum.

I booked the room as I was returning to California after being in Bellingham, WA . What o found was a building in construction without the name I expected. Apparently, the building ownership was changing as was the management, the name, etc. changes were under construction as they were booking rooms. After driving 9+ hours, not what I was expecting. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean, new carpet, furnishings. There were obvious updates except the bathtub which was quite old and had some sort of plastic sheet glued over I don’t know what. The drain/ stopper was broken. Obviously, a lot of improvements but the bath was weird and disappointing. At 2 am the fire alarm went off and everyone was evacuated outside in pj’s. A staffer said that there had been someone there all day working on wiring.(!!!). Eventually we went back in and returned to rooms/ bed. Another alarm at 3am, and another at around 3:20 approx. times. I had 5 more hours of travel for the next day with about half of it mountain passes. I did not rest as needed. I felt worse than when I arrived. Ultimately, there was no fire, but I would not have booked it if I had known it was under construction. I think another six months things there will be much more inviting. I think the intent is good. The experience was not, for me.

From check-in to check-out, my entire stay was disappointing. Nowhere during the booking process was it clearly stated that the property was no longer La Quinta Inn and was in the middle of transitioning to Spark by Hilton. The hotel was under construction, which significantly impacted the overall experience. During my three-night stay, housekeeping provided only one towel for the entire stay. There was no soap provided, and the room was not cleaned properly. The pool and hot tub were dirty and clearly not being maintained. On Sunday evening, the fire alarm went off at least five times, causing a sleepless night, unnecessary stress, and constant disruption. The room itself was in poor condition. The toilet seat was broken and peeling apart. Most concerning, on Saturday night around 7:00 p.m., an employee repeatedly knocked on my door insisting on coming in to fix the phone. Despite explaining that I did not need the phone repaired, the interruptions continued. This behavior was inappropriate, intrusive, and made me feel very uncomfortable as a solo guest. What was most disappointing was the lack of professionalism and respect shown by the staff. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience and not at all what I expected. I would not recommend staying here and will certainly not be returning.

The building fire alarm went off 3 times in the night so needless to say a very uncomfortable night.
-
It is no longer La Quinta. They should update this. Also, they didn’t give me my room as they said they didn’t have pet rooms even though my dogs are registered as ESA
-
They are change over to spark and there is no sound deadening between floors so we could hear everyone above us till well after 11pm

Hotel was having some renovations done and you could tell. Room was clean but the hotel its self had a funky smell maybe due to renovating overall it was fine.
-
It is under construction because of new owners. Pool was green and had hair in it every where.
-
Hotel was undergoing renovations, no longer a la Quinta. There was normal dust, areas blocked off, tape, etc due to that. However, there were things that were not okay. The toilet was not clean when we got to the room. The pool had clumps of black hair floating around the several days we were there. They ran out of towels and the owner was not nice about us asking for more than the ONE provided for our 2 queen bed room. Yes, one towel, for a room that can have 4 people. Then on top of that, our room keys continuously stopped working.
-
Room was clean and looked well maintained , beds were wonderful to sleep on! Size of the soap was tiny but enough for one night. I’d definitely stay there again.
-
Aside from that, the room itself was clean and the breakfast was decent.
-
Staff was horrendous. Yelling at us, telling us we couldnt have company, even in our room for a few moments due to "renovations" that consisted of them painting the main hallways. The whole place smelled of paint due to lack of proper ventilation. And no discounts were given, no notices were given about the renovations prior to our stay.
-
The staff was very friendly and helpful!
-
Room was clean enough but not fully stocked—only one towel . Pool too grimy to use. In room coffee maker had dust/mold in it. Lobby coffee was very weak. Breakfast choices unappetizing—molded eggs, waffles, red delicious apples. Good enough place to stay buy amenities poor quality.
-
Awful, no dressers nowhere to put your clothes,no shower soap, no holders for soap. Breakfast was awful footwasbad to begin with then ran out of juice, Yogurt, yogurt, sir fruit was old and stale just playing awful
-
location was great. Clean property, felt safe for car and walking into hotel. Nice room. Nice staff.
-
Shower heads were horrible. Card reader wasn't working well when we were there so had to take a trip back to the front desk to get the card re-keyed. Housekeeping staff pressured us to leave 15-20 min before the noon check out time. So all in all....an economical stay, but kinda felt the age of this hotel.
-
Night staff were amazing, the young lady in the morning was nice as well. However there was construction going on. There was no breakfast, no juice, spoiled milk, flying insects inside the bread case etc.
-
I went in a little early as I was just coming from a 400 mile drive and the lady was very helpful with getting me a room before the three o'clock check-in. I want to make note that this hotel is the only hotel in the area that will let you bring your cat inside. Every hotel that said they are pet friendly are liars if they're dog only. Anyways, they have a swimming pool and free WiFi. They gave me 2 queen beds and it was a large room for me, my daughter, and her cat. Thanks for the good quick stay LaQuinta!
