Penzion Golden Crown

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Český Krumlov. The room was spotless, beautifully modern, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable right away. The breakfast was a real highlight - fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, with plenty of variety. It genuinely felt like the owner puts her heart into every detail and truly cares about her guests. The communication before our arrival was also excellent. The owner kept in touch with us and did everything she could to accommodate an earlier check-in, which we really appreciated and made our arrival so much easier. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the charming historic centre, making it ideal for exploring the town. Overall, it felt warm, welcoming, and full of care - a place we’d happily return to and recommend with heart ❤️ The mini fridge in the room could have worked better, as it didn’t keep items as cold as expected. However, this was a very minor issue in an otherwise wonderful stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The room was very comfortable, modern, clean and quiet. Free parking was available about 500m away and it was about a 15 min walk to the old town. The breakfast provided was delicious with a good variety of items to choose from.

Great breakfast with made to order eggs. Nice coffee machine. Large, comfy room with sitting area. Was able to hang out and wait for our shuttle after check out. Quiet. Clean. Good restaurant nearby. Had to pay about $7 USD for extra blanket. Walk into town was close, but lots of stairs.

It is so clean and spacious. Also the complementary breakfast is very nice. I am so impressed.

Check in was easy. The facilities were exceptionally clean and the owner was very kind.

Room was very clean & with all modern furnishings! Bathroom was a good size with a lovely shower! Bed was comfy and room also had a minibar/fridge. There was a good variety of food for breakfast! Hotel is about a 10-15 walk to Cesky Krumlov castle/tourist shopping area! We arrived early and was allowed to check in straight away as the room was ready which was a bonus! Staff were friendly.

Quiet location, excellent brakfast, kind lady who was serving the breakfast. Noisy other guests at the same floor, didn't learn to respect the house rules and being considerate of presence of other people at the building

Exceptional

friendly staff, uncomplicated check-in and check-out, and good breakfast. we were very surprised that the beds weren't too soft, which is good (at least for us). just 15 minutes walk away from the center (even w/ kids).

Very clean. We also liked being removed from the center of town and not having to carry our luggage over the cobblestones of old town. The walk to town center was easy for us but would NOT be easy for everyone as it involves steep hills and steps. Martina at the front reception was very helpful and informed. It needs to be mentioned that there is a staircase used to access all but 2 rooms that is spiral, narrow and quite threatening. Please clarify where you room is located before booking. It was difficult to climb let alone carrying suitcases to your room. Also, the breakfast was the very same all 4 days of our stay. It was a nice selection of food offerings but got monotonous being the same day after day.
