Good location and free on-site parking were pluses. The main negative was water pressure in the room....did not check the shower but the most we could get from the sink faucet was a very weak trickle.

The stay here was perfect for our visit to UVA. Easy to get to the college and to checkout places nearby.

The location was convenient for what we wanted to do. A couple negative surprises, other than that, what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. Surprised to learn when we arrived that they charged $20 per night for parking (credit is showing a $50 charge instead of a $20 charge). Never had that experience at a Hampton Inn before, and it changed the math when comparing prices. I did not eat at the breakfast buffet, but the family members who went there said it was disappointing.

We stay at Hamptons for the beds! The most comfortable sleep you can get.

The location was great. The mattress or bedding had a faint smell of urine.

Location near hospital because husband was having heart surgery. Close to a few places to eat and train station so my sister could come and stay with me. As a paying guest it still cost you additional money to park in the parking lot. I have never had to do this at any other hotel. I splashed water on bathroom floor and wiped it up with bathroom wash cloth. The cloth was filthy with black dirt, so floor had not been mopped in a while. I reported it to front desk and it was never addressed. The towels I placed on the floor to prevent walking on dirty floor were still there when we returned later that day.

Wonderful experience. Suite space was big. Kitchen was very useful.

Everything was clean, and there was a verity of food for breakfast, it was a quiet room, but the comforter we had did not have cover and when we tried to call the phone was broken. Also the parking was a little expensive. But over all it was a nice visit though.
