Over all the hotel was clean but showing its age. Elevator (there is only one small elevator) is at the far end while our room was at the other end…somewhat of a pain for moving luggage. Room was clean, linens were fresh so no beef there. Breakfast was a single waffle maker, a bread assortment, coffee and juice. It was well stocked but being #3 in line for the waffle maker was a 9 min wait. The breakfast area was very clean. For dog travellers, there is a nice area for walking on the backside of the hotel.

Breakfast The weather
-
The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast. The selection is very minimal to say the least. In my opinion they could add Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and some yogurt even some fresh fruit as examples.
-
Wish other options for breakfast were offered other than carbohydrates (waffles, cereal, toast, muffins, and bagels…)
-
Bugs in the room. Cobwebs in the corners of the room.

The staff was nice but the property is not. The rooms are okay. Mediocre. The continental breakfast was minimum. Cereal, waffles, crusty danishes and toast. There was some loud guests. I know the hotel can't help who stays there but there were people fighting upstairs, outside, in the stairs and it started at 4 am and ended at like 6 am. Don't know why the cops weren't called. The people shouldve been kicked off the property.

It was affordable and suitable for a trip to alumni weekend at UVA, and it was close to the university. It’s not fancy but it was clean and worked well!

The room was clean. The bathroom had some mold around the sink, but was relatively clean. The bed is extremely squeaky, but it was clean and the pillows were nice. The staff were helpful and respectful as well. Overall a good stay

Management was nice. The door of the room was repaired so many times, there was a big gap- not a secure feeling. The toilet kept running, like it was leaking. Otherwise the beds were clean and bathroom was very clean.

The room was small and noisy, and even though it was non-smoking, smelled like smoke. I would recommend to keep driving past this one!
