Doubletree by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place

We were in town for the weekend for fun. The property was clean, which is very important to me. The beds were comfortable. We were close to shopping and restaurants. It was quiet and there was not a lot of outside noise at night.

No way to control the ac,

We checked in late at night. We got to the room and noticed hair was everywhere. Not sure if this was from the cleaners or the previous people that stayed in the room. Also there was empty pill containers in the trashcan. Went to the lobby and the host gave us a new room along with a breakfast voucher. She was extremely understanding and exceptional.

Basic requirements like lights and microwave were not available which was really disappointing. Attention to detail was absent. Shampoo was not filled. AC was not circulating well. This is expected in Motel 6 not Doubletree….. I feel that I was charged unfairly and wasted my points.

Excellent staff and amazing facilities

As for the hotel upon arrival, all we pulled in in front to check in, and we were immediately overwhelmed with the smell of marijuana because they were two people sitting out on the bench, smoking it and one of them happen to be the person who is gonna be checking us in invite her behavior. I don’t know if that’s the only thing she was using.. the other staff we encounter during our stay or very nice the breakfast though not free with the very high rate for your stay was really good and the people there were very nice.

I am reaching out to share my concerns regarding my recent stay at the DoubleTree Hotel Hamilton Place on 7/24 7/25. Initially, I was pleased with the courteous & professional check-in experience provided by your staff. However, I encountered a distressing incident that overshadowed my stay at this location, especially after having just checked out of the downtown location from 7/19 to 7/24, where I had a pleasant experience. I chose to stay at the DoubleTree Hotel Hamilton Place due to a flight cancellation. After stepping out of the shower, I reached for a folded "clean" towel, only to find a dead roach that had fallen onto the counter from it. This shocking and appalling discovery, which I have documented with an attached photo, was particularly disappointing given my expectations from a Hilton property. Upon check-out, I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk receptionist. Despite her young son’s presence, she seemed indifferent to the seriousness of the situation and did not take the time to review the photo I provided. While I appreciate her assurance that she would inform the manager, My trust in your hotel’s cleanliness has been significantly shaken. As a long-time Hilton member, I feel it is important to share my feedback regarding this experience. I hope you will take the necessary steps to address this matter & uphold the integrity of your esteemed establishment.

Except for a light that was not working, I cannot complain about anything here. It was a good experience and given that there were a LOT of breakfast places right outside, the fact that we did not opt for paying $30 for two people was a good idea.

Second stay here and I was just as impressed as the first time. Lobby is neat, smells nice, staff is AMAZING! Shout out to Candice for always going above and beyond. Rooms are clean, fresh, and the bed is super comfy. Loooove the pillows. I always wanna take them home with me. Indoor pool was lovely and empty, just the way I like it. Even if the cookies weren’t fantastic, I’d still stay here. Love the Doubletree at Hamilton Place. Makes visiting Chattanooga a breeze!

Fairly recent refurb from a Holiday Inn.....3+ yrs so property seems fresh and in good shape. up to Doubletree stds. excellent price comparison.

Clean rooms breakfast was good

When I got my room it was very clean, the bed was super comfy and the room was a decent size. My only complaint was the shower had no shelf. Perhaps because they provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. There's also a refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was available but I didn't get it It's very near to I-75, shipping and restaurants. There's free parking Yes I'd stay again

They did not provide pillows for sofa bed and staff was unattentive with rude demeaner since checking in.

Everything was excellent until morning. There was no shampoo in the shower and I called the front desk and they said they would bring it up. Never got it so I was not happy about that.
