Red Roof Inn Chattanooga - Hamilton Place

I have stayed there many times in the last 3 months. It was really bad this time. We had roaches in the room that was clearly smoked in. I told Mr Patel I wanted my money back. He looked like I was stealing his puppy. Said he is gonna see if he could comp us a different room. Came back later and he said no. I said the place is empty. He states not comp rooms. Then it gets funny. Told us the room was $74 and would take the $20 off. He raised the price to come down to price on red roof inn. Mr Patel guards the money well. I used to tell how much value and clean it was. Now you are gonna see his canned reply. The doors did not have the seal that goes on the bottom of the door. Anything can get in. Heat/AC units are filthy.

I walked in my non smoking room and it blew me away with the mamajuana smell. I had to leave the door open a while. all kinds of trashy people were there. Car alarm went off at 2am. Lobby had coffee that's it. Adding was stained up. Do not recommend!

Alot of young kids trying to make a music video while I was trying to rest at night. They had the music so loud an no one was doing anything about it.

Comfortable and clean. A fine stop for my road trip.

Nothing the room smelled like cigarettes & mold The a/c unit was cracked and kicked dust off onto the bed, the room itself smelled like it had been smoked in for 5 years & of mold.

The manager was very helpful. But there was no table or chair in the room to sit or eat on. There was no microwave or refrigerator. Very little there.

We stayed overnight, in the middle of a long trip. We checked in late (around 11 pm). The check in process was quick and easy. When we got in the room the amount of humidity in the room was unbearable. Everything felt wet. The smell of mildew/mold was intense enough that we had to spray lysol so we could try and sleep without getting a headache. I didn't bother trying to get another room because of the time and the sign on the office door that read "No more rooms. Sold out".

The TV had lots of channels. The only issue was the new bath tub. It's a little taller than most and was pretty slippery. The Hotel was in a convenient location, surrounded by restaurants.

Property had cockroaches running around outside the door. Staff was unprofessional, unfriendly Would never consider staying with this hotel line again!!!

The first set of rooms given to us had not been cleaned, but we were quickly accommodated and was satisfied with the rooms

Personnel was very good and knowledgeable about certain things and places. I felt like the bathtub was a little slippery with nothing in the bottom of the tub to help keep me from falling. Had to hold onto the railing. Other than that the stay was Great!!!
