The Hotel Chalet at The Choo Choo

A super cozy environment, the rooms are very spacious and the hotel’s location is within walking distance to so many places!

The rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff were extremely accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Chalet at the Choo Choo! The hotel has such a unique atmosphere, it truly feels like stepping back in time while still offering all the modern comforts you could want. The historic character is beautifully preserved, making the experience much more memorable than a typical hotel stay. We also loved the coffee bar in the lobby; the latte was excellent and a perfect way to start the day. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind place to stay in Chattanooga, I highly recommend Hotel Chalet. We'd definitely stay here again!

Unique hotel in a good location. Centrally located and easy to get around by car or shuttle. Staff was welcoming and helpful, breakfast bar was wonderful and pool area is perfect for relaxing.

Last night in a 9 hotel driving trip & Chattanooga was really picked more for the location along the way than for any other reason. And this hotel for much the same reason. Happy to report I was pleasantly surprised on the upside by both. Got a great room, enjoyed the pool, location is excellent & staff was A+!! Highly recommend!!

The water pressure in the shower was amazing. The bed was super comfy. Loved the location.

The hotel provided modern, first class amenities yet retained its early 20th century charm.

Couple of things keep me from giving it five stars: Parking appeared to be ample so I don't know why they have to charge $20 a day for it. Plain ordinary coffee in the morning ought to be free not $3 a cup. There really isn't a comfortable place to watch TV from the room because it doesn't swivel. Little things like that are what add to a stay and allow me to say it was over the top. Fix those things and that's where you'll be. All that being said if we were to return to Chattanooga and want to stay near the downtown area I would stay here again.

IMMACULATE. Do not hesitate on booking this one. This was seriously the greatest hotel experience I have had in my entire life. As a Chattanooga resident, I can honestly say that this is absolutely the best hotel to stay at for the perfect Chattanooga experience. The hotel room was so cozy a comfortable that I truly did not want to leave. The pool and courtyards were beautiful. The train cars and easy access to EVERYTHING at the Choo Choo made everything so easy and just had the coolest vibe and allowed us to make the best of every minute. The owners have done an amazing job at creating a seamless atmosphere that sucks you in and makes you feel like you have went back in time to early 1900’s Chattanooga. Was like being in a movie. Also let me just say, this is the cleanest hotel I have ever been in, the most comfortable beds and the most luxurious shower. Also as a person with an injury, I found the patio areas with access to the parking lot (which there were lots of places to get close parking to our room) to make things so much easier when I needed to save my legs from a long day. The area is also chocked full of amazing restaurants and things to do. Great hotel for anything from families to weddings. Very short walk to some of the best restaurants in town.

We received a warm welcome from the staff and they were on hand with any questions. The Hotel was lovely and clean and offered some quirky train carriages for rooms which was great. The restaurant was nice with excellent food along with Happy Hours. They also had a caboose with patio Area however this wasn’t open during our visit which was a shame. We would definitely return if coming to Chatanooga again in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay

We had a great time. They offer so much and such a great location!

Everything was beautiful and accommodating. Our only complaint was the facility is smoke free but then they had the smoking section just outside the front door and you have to walk through it to come or go.

Staff services was great. Room was cozy and the pool was amazing. Anything you needed was within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again
