Chawengburi Resort

Good location, didn't use the breakfast facility - food didn't appeal to us. Beach front was lovely, not many people staying at the resort might have compromised the options at the resort The resort is looking a bit tired and needs a freshen up. Repairs going on a various places around the resort. Restaurant not open in the evenings, possibly due to low occupancy rate? Generally the place needs to be updated.

Great location and the outside gym is a gem!

The property is spacious, and has more than enough room for even 3 persons. The property itself had an amazing location and is in the heart of Chaweng, with the mall Central Samui just across the road. The accommodation is placed very close to the beach and there was almost no noise from Chaweng street. It’s a great place to come back to for rest and peace. The staff is very nice and Chris has made our stay as comfortable as possible. Her English is very good, so for those who do not speak Thai, no language barrier at all! Also a shoutout to the cleaners, for always making the room spotless. We also received a free shuttle to the airport on the check out day.

Was there too short a time to identify anything we didnt like

Nothing Horrible, okay for the price but I can’t even but the issues are crazy. No reliable power, chaweng had a power outrage and they waited several hours before turning the generator on making the rooms saunas and full of bugs. No running water water broke and they don’t know when they’ll fix it. They ruined there own beach by allowing not 1 but 2 jet ski services directly on there “private” beach. These jet skis leave you about a 20 foot span of beach to swim and the people are extremely rude , often drive in the swimming zone missing you by a foot and will sit and yell at you for swimming at your resort beach because they just want to use it for jet skiing waste of a beach. Also everything is out of date from there welcome info to the signs in the room they are missing tons of amenities there kitchen closes hours earlier then it says and whenever you ask why they just say oh out of date. They also do construction on ether side of your room at 9am randomly and our shower doesn’t drain even though I’ve asked them to fix it 3 times. Horrible.

Great Location 200m from Central and Chaweng entertainment strip. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet Bungalows great for relaxing. The Beach Bar Closing too Early

The staff was very nice and the pool was very nice If you like surfing, for weightlifting this would be a good location But I wanted to swim, and the water was too rough I had to walk about 1000 feet down the beach to find gentle waves Unfortunately, it was very windy for a couple of days And the water at the beach was very rough

An amazing beach, part of the resort is a beautiful gym on the beach, nearby massages complete the atmosphere of a stay in Thailand. We did not use the breakfast and restaurant as they did not seem hygienic enough to us. The resort is managed by local citizens and the mess does not look good.

very friendly and helpful staff and good location if you want to be in the center of things. The Rooms with the pool are so nice! The room needs some renovation/is just a little run down. But really not bad and still very clean and functional :) But in the near future they probably need renovation

Was a perfect stay, good location

Great value, great location, having a private pool Probably worst maintained and most rundown resort we have ever stayed at. The place is chaotic, full of junk, and falling apart. Our Russian fellow house guests had all the pool beds reserved by 8 am

Good location The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the room decor was old and outdated, the shower curtain was filthy, the street noise was loud, and apparently housekeeping doesn't visit the rooms during your stay (I was there 9 nights and they didn't come once). It was not the relaxing beach resort I was hoping for.

Very central Needs some fixing up

The room and the location were good. The beach was great. Hawkers were friendly, they left you alone if you said you didn't want to buy anything. The water at the beach was a little murky. Staff were friendly and respectful. The breakfast was underwhelming. I couldn't say specifically what I didn't like but, it wasn't worth the price. I also don't think Samui is a breakfast place, like Ubud, Bali. I think it may have just been a poor presentation of the breakfast items. IDK

Location is awesome resort is cute . Translate old tired, but passable due to the location. Breakfast was disappointing - once the beachside Wood workout pay per use Beachfront Gym had opened that side of the resort became busy & the beachfront dynamic changed. I dont like my direct beach access for relaxation interrupt all day everyday by this & pumping house music playing all day till evening. We got a pretty nice front location for 13 nights at the rack rate it was good value after about 4 nights they finished and opened the new Wood Work out Gym. I dont blame them for maximising the beachfront there but in future I would navigate around this its just not what I want in my view.
