Beautiful place, big clean room, nice bed, Ana ing view like having your view point with a massive swimming pool. The swimming pool was amazing both the room and swimming pool over looking the ocean. Hotel is a bit outdated it could benefit from some renovation but it’s not that bad. Also have a bike delivered to the hotel it will make your life easier. Location bit hard to get to you must have a car or bike but again you need a bike everywhere in Thailand.

The owner offered thoughtful tour recommendations and, although they can arrange everything for you, we never felt any pressure to use their services. We did choose to do so and were not disappointed. He shared invaluable local knowledge and ensured the tour operator took great care of us—which they absolutely did. Some Grab drivers and shuttles were reluctant to go up the hill, but the villa staff were excellent about sending a shuttle down until 5:00 pm. After that, it’s best to clearly confirm that the driver is willing to go all the way up to the resort. Most drivers were very familiar with the location, and we never had any trouble finding a ride that took us right to the door.

The staff is excellent. They are very attentive and responsive. There are needed updates to the surrounding facilities that distract from the beautiful view.

One of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. Perfect sea view and private swimming pool. Very clean and equipped with everything that you need. They also have room service and a restaurant located nearby.

The views from our room were absolutely stunning! The deck with our own private pool was amazing, so much so that we chose to stay at the hotel and have room service so that we could eat our meals and continue to enjoy the view. Nothing.

The entire stay, facility, pool, cleanliness, and overall satisfaction I give it a 9 out of 10. Food is also great if you don’t feel like going out to eat. Great view from the main pool and most rooms have beautiful million dollar view from the top of the hill where the Villa is. It is a bit challenging walking up the hill, but it’s worth the view and peace. Renting a scooter/bike could be challenging going up this steep hill unless you are strong rider. We had a little trouble with AC not cooling, but works better when we turned it off and back on. It wasn’t as cold as it could be especially it is super hot out. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. The Villa has taxi service wherever you want to go, but it gets expensive if you are in-out a lot. Love this place, will go again. They have done Yoga Retreat out by the pool, it is easy to set up with front desk team. Little trouble with AC not as cold.

Private pool villa was amazing. close to a couple of nice beaches with very good snorkelling. Restaurant is good. Amazing place and amazing staff. Could have been a little more generous with the free room bottled water but no big deal.

We loved our stay at Sandalwood! Even though there were obviously other guests, the rooms are set up in a way where it feels very private and quiet so it felt like we were the only ones there. It’s also up on a very steep hill so feels secluded, more peaceful and private than the beachside resorts on the island, with the bonus of an amazing view. The hotel has a free transfer service to nearby beaches which was helpful but we ended up hiring a scooter which made it easier to get around ourselves. The staff are all very helpful and nice.

Very spacious and clean. The WIFI was good. The food from the restaurant was nice. The staff are amazing xx The water pressure in the showers wasn’t the best but they did the job. The web reviews say that every villa comes with a pool but this is not the case, however, the use of the complex villa is available for all to use.
