the room was ok. The staff were nice, but untrained Expecting Customer service was a crime. Ask them for anything, and the reply will be No.

Location Toilets need renovation. Toilet seat broken room 308. Outside toilet window is a very loud motor running sound, whole night couldn't sleep. Next day asked for another room. 303- toilet seat is almost touching the wall. So can sit only 3/4 !! Night my colleague came to visit me at 9.45 on his way to hj one from work. He was not allowed to come to my room as they have a rule - NO VISITORS AFTER 10Pm. Why is it not mentioned while checking in or while booking?

The breakfast was decent. Maintenance is not at all up to the mark. We had to switch two rooms. One because the toilet was broken and another because the air conditioning was not working in the sweltering chennai heat. Would recommend this only if you're up to tackling such issues during your stay. It was over priced as well

Near to race course

Flashing lights trail down the building past my room window. Flashing all night even thro the thick curtains. Typical daft Indian hotel management.

the front desk was very helpful because we were shocked, our cards (debit and 4 different banks of credit card) weren’t working; but the female front desk officer was too helpful and considerate. we asked if we could pay for 2 days then find a money exchange center the following day and pay them in cash. the manager. when our cards weren’t working and the issue was raised to him, he said “ just go to the atm and withdraw, maybe your cards DONT HAVE MONEY!” ????? “from which country are you?”, “even our European guest pay in cash” ? .. ???? we’re shocked by this condescending statements. anyhow, we paid in cash, the crew were nice, they made our stay comfortable & it’s hard to transfer since we were tired and we don’t know the place.. but I think there’s a condescending aura on the tone of his remarks. I’ve traveled to Europe and Asia, but have never received “maybe your card don’t have money”… infront of the front desk female staff. Well it doesn’t disturb me but reflects much of him & ironically he’s the manager. treating a paying client like this is so 1800 centuries. we are travelled and booking.com stated they are VISA accepting hotel. there maybe some glitch in the system which is understandable but to say “Maybe your card don’t have money..and comparing us to European guest!… is a condescending remark and racist as if he’s comparing the capacity to pay depends if the race! Bless his soul!

Location was the reason why I preferred it. Room cleanliness is bad. Room linen especially bedsheet and pillow cover were stained. Washroom maintenance was very bad. Air conditioner was making noise. Breakfast served was cold. Proper temperature was not maintained. Overall property cleanliness was very bad.

Location was close to the Philippines Consulate Bathroom was messy, the door of the toilet was half broken. We requested for room cleaning and it wasn't done despite leaving the key at the reception. There was no locker in the room to store our valuables! And the female receptionist was rude and was asking for the key of the room before we went out saying it's their policy. If that's the policy, provide a locker in the room atleast.

Location was great … easily assessible Bath rooms was awful.Dirty. The bath accessories given were pathetic.
