Clean and well decorated Miss understanding About the room number. Two room numbers were written on the card holder. Took 15-20 minutes extra to solve the issue. The floor staff weren’t helpfull , so I had to do it by myself. I booked a delux room and they upgraded it to the Heritage room. But i didn’t like it at all. I arrived at the hotel about 40 minutes before check in time. I told the reception to complete the paperwork. But they told me to wait and at 2 pm they called me and did the paper work. Whereas they could do it earlier which could save my time as i was super tired and i wanted to jump on the bed asap. The worst is the swimming pool. Start from 4 feet. So children who cannot swim are unable to use it.

I booked a double large bed, but the hotel gave me 2 single separated beds.

The staff were friendly, especially the restaurant manager. The food was very good especially the chicken tikka. The room has mosquitoes and cockroaches. The towels were not up to standard - they looked old and worn out. For the price I paid, I expected better.

Good location. Good breakfast. Room not meeting the requirement as while traveling with spouse i have requested for joint bed.. bed provided is split bed. Also washroom has lot of water clogging. so we need to change the room as it was not comfortable. No staff to carry out luggage and way to the lifts is very confusing room. support staff.. washroom not upto the mark.. window overlooking outside not cleaned up and very messy

The food area had cockroaches. Brought it to the notice of the senior / chef staff there. He went to catch one with his bare hands but failed. Beyond that he did nothing. The coffee machine has not been serviced for many weeks, it appeared. The spout was spraying outside the cup, a nozzle problem. . The milk was splitting (getting spoiled). Again brought it to the knowledge of the chef but he did nothing except offer hand made filter coffee. The situation remained the same till we left at 9 am. A full hour ....and may be thereafter. All customer-facing staff behaved well in accordance with the Ambassador tradition. Edwin was excellent in his service. Suggestion: when a room is occupied by 2 people it will be nice if all toiletries are also doubled. Commonsense..I guess.

Good and big parking, good breakfast. AC did not work good. Only humid air came out of the vent and the temperature was set to 23 degrees by default. I informed the receptionist to check this, but they didn't do anything. Later I called again and asked to check, but a guy came who is not a technician, but looks like a manager and just tried to change the settings on the remote and went off, still nothing happened. We just adjusted for the stay and vacated. Other than the main areas, the hotel needs serious renovation. All furnitures are too old, they just painted white on the old bamboo chairs / teapoys, too noisy from outside. Not a good sleep altogether. May not stay again.

The staffs were very courteous and made us feel very comfortable. Swimming pool was great. Location is great, surprisingly calm and quiet at the heart of the city. You get everything within 500 m of the hotel.
