Good location and quiet surroundings. Excellent breakfast spread. TV never worked and locked into a single channel, Sun TV. Not sure if it was a political statement :)

Everything was beautiful. The staff accommodated warmly my extra need for ordering special medication by getting in touch with local pharmacies and having the medicine ordered and delivered straight to the hotel. Rooms and all common spaces were neat and looked after. All staff were kind and keen to be of service. Breakfast was delectable, very fresh and with unique taste twists. Very nice stay, I would choose to stay again

Great hotel in a quiet part of town. It has a pool, small gym and facilities for a massage. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was nice

The location of the hotel is beautifully green and very pleasant, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. During this stay, we do not use any restaurant except in room dining as we were fasting during the day, so we did not make use of the breakfast. However, on one occasion, I requested some pastries from Colony, and the staff there were extremely helpful and kind. The girls kindly packed a selection of muffins and pastries for us, which we truly appreciated. This was our second time staying at Rain Tree, and once again, the experience was very comfortable. The bell boys were especially polite, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile, which added to the overall positive experience. Overall, everything was well managed, and the service met our expectations. It was a pleasant stay, and we appreciate the consistent hospitality provided by the team No place is truly perfect, yet they have consistently fulfilled every request we’ve made with care and dedication. Customer service was fantastic. Facilities were good and it was in a good location. They did a great job storing our luggage between our stays in their cloakroom. I accidentally had a double booking I forgot to cancel and they were very gracious about the cancellation fee. Shower should’ve had a space to put your own soap, etc.

The room given to us had multiple issues like the plug port was not working, shower area drain was clogged, etc. But when brought to the staff's notice it was immediately attended to. Very friendly staff.

I had a wonderful stay at The Raintree, the hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. What really made the experience special was the exceptional buffet breakfast, rooftop view and service from the staff—especially Sumit and Sunita, who went above and beyond to help me plan my travel to Pondicherry. Their kindness, efficiency, and genuine care made my stay truly memorable, especially when I was not feeling so well. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again. Nothing, I wish I could have stayed longer :)
