Candlewood Suites Chester Richmond by IHG

The property was immaculate. The rooms were clean and modern and well equipped. Staff very friendly. I'm definitely stay here again if I'm in that area in the future. Kudos to Candlewood for this fabulous property.

Great stay! Check in was easy and Melissa was great. Hotel itself is newer so very updated and modernized. Clean. Rooms were spacious. Picked this hotel initially because I loved that it had an actual kitchen in it! Full size fridge is way better than a mini. Quiet hotel. No complaints . Will definitely be staying here again anytime we come to Richmond!! Not really any complaints. Would definitely stay here again but apparently for shorter stays you don’t get room service which is 100% fine with me as we only stayed for the weekend and I don’t love people coming in and out of my room- they stated if we needed anything to just ask but our room trash can filled up quickly for trash. With no extra bags given- maybe add back up bags under the sink (just a suggestion) like they had paper towels and things. Also, luggage carts were hard to come by and the front desk lady at check out said guest keep them in the room- I don’t think that should be a thing. Not fair to the other guest that need them

Front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate me during my trip. Because of them I will always choose to stay here without hesitation. Thank you for providing a great experience. Denise Brooks Sink was clogged

Nothing No hot water No free breakfast Charged $5.00 to park and it was just a regular parking lot!!!

There was no breakfast, which was offered at another location we at prior and there was a charge for parking which was a straight up money grab!

The first night their was no lights the power kept going off,their was ants in the room I told them they needed to come spay an but we kept finding them especially in the bed where my daughter an little cousin was sleeping

This is the absolute best hotel I have ever stayed at! We do travel volleyball and stay at pretty great hotels quite often. However, this one in particular far surpasses any we have ever stayed at. The price point was huge for us because we have a family of 7 and a doggo. We comfortably fit in the room (queen suite). The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful when I did have a tiny issue in trying to extend our stay one more night. This error was created by me but the staff graciously helped and was very patient through my anxiety. I really appreciate every single encounter and amenity that we utilized. We will definitely be staying again whenever we are in the area.

Modern hotel with great amenities such as tesla charging, gym, outdoor patio with barbeque grill if needed. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. My wife and I loved the stay.
