My husband and I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori Wellness & Spa in Chianciano Terme, and we had a pleasant and relaxing experience overall. The staff truly stood out with their friendliness and accommodating nature. Despite arriving much earlier than the check-in time, they welcomed us warmly, offering us a drink while recommending great places to visit and dine around the area. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for our stay. The spa on level 4 was a highlight—a serene place to unwind while taking in the lovely view. It was the perfect spot to relax after exploring the area. Our room was clean and tidy, with all the essentials we needed. While the bed wasn’t fully comfortable due to slightly noticeable springs, it didn’t significantly affect our sleep as we still managed to rest well. We also enjoyed the hotel’s charming facade, where we could sip tea or coffee while admiring the fantastic views—such a delightful experience! Overall, the hospitality, relaxing spa, and beautiful setting made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our visit so pleasant! The gym isn’t one of the great features/amenities for the hotel. Lack of equipments. The placements of the existing gym equipment was all over the place. Personally, we didn’t feel like working out as the place feels unmotivated ? however, we still managed to have a good time playing the ping pong table

SPA and solarium were very new and had everything a SPA should have. Rooms were very beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We had both a shower and a bathtub. The room had a small fridge. Very nice. The "gym" had very old machines, not all working. The said gym and most of the corridors had carpeted floors and were not allergy friendly. The massages prices were so high they were not accessible.

The spa and pool area are absolutely fantastic , meals consumed in the hotel very actually very abundant and tasty, and the staff extremely friendly and available, highly recommended (its my second time here) The only minus is the location's amenities, the thermal pools and baths are all within walking distance, however this part of Chianciano is a bit empty in terms of many shops, bars and cafes closed, so it is recommended to have a longer walk to the old town, as this area has mostly hotels.
