Brique Suite Hotel Chiangmai

Exceptional stay! The property is highly comfortable with stunning views. Everything was convenient and well-managed. I’ll definitely be back for my next visit.

The property was nice, little gym just enough, nice pool and restaurant location. Hotel location was perfect for my needs. The Lilly pond was nice to look out at sunset, with mountains. Very friendly staff and cleaning ladies.. free water everyday?? What I didn’t like was the hall carpet was worn and lots of stains makes for light smells. The sofa and pillows in my room had stains of many colors. So I covered the sofa.

Update (after hotel's response): The response to my reservation to the condition of the suite does not match to what I have written and shared in the photos. The photos indicated that I did indeed book a stay in the accommodation, and I had access even with a keycard pic. There is another guest that left a similar review mentioning the filthy conditions of the suite. I was very explicit with indicating the private ownership of this suite unite under the auspices of Brique. Thank you for revealing the lack of proper understanding and communication even though I state facts and provide evidence for the awareness of the public. There is a lack of urgency to address and fix problems mentioned from previous guests and even during my stay. Professional cleaners could be hired easily to purge the carpeted hallways of its grime, and a professionally trained cleaning service is wildly available for hire to have a hygienic space fit to receive paying customers wanting a comfortable stay. The images and statements are very alarming, and yet the hotel or the private owner's response is oddly humorous. The lack of cleanliness and basic quality standards are evident in the images I shared for public awareness and safety, which I also communicated to the property's private owner. This is an private accommodation similar to Airbnb, unbeknownst to many, listed on Booking.com, inside of Brique Hotel. At check-in, I encountered a filthy hallway carpet. The suite had torn bed sheets, damaged furniture, stained counters and desks, hair in the bathroom, reddish-brown stains on both sides of the sitting area cushion, and fecal matter on the toilet seat. A bottle of bleach, which I purchased to disinfect the room, is visible in the mirror reflection, as the alternative room offered was equally unclean. It appears that someone resides there permanently, leaving hastily and messily once a Booking.com reservation is confirmed. Despite signs within the suite threatening fines for various infractions, the suite's condition were/ are deplorable. I informed the owner, and the Brique hotel staff of my concerns regarding the low standards and filth upon entering the room, and it was not resolved properly. A technician's attempt to repair a sliding door was unsuccessful, leaving it unable to close or lock, posing a major security risk. This was particularly concerning given Chiang Mai's ranking as the most polluted city on the day of my stay, with the polluted carcinogen air infiltrating the suite I expected to be safe. The owner requested that I refrain from leaving a review scoring less than a perfect 10.
