Empress Premier Hotel

We always stay in this hotel every time we visit Chiang Mai. The hotel is always immaculate…very spick and span. It’s in a lovely area which is not to far from the main road. However once you’re in the hotel surroundings, its feels very quiet and secluded. The staff in the hotel are incredible . They are what makes this hotel a success. Ms. Boom and her team are like family to us. We hope to visit and stay again . Nothing

We were treated like royalty by staff, and upgraded to a suite upon arrival. A goodie bag with fruit, nuts, and chocolates was brought a few minutes after we settled in. Beds were very comfortable, and the room was immaculate. Location is within a five-minute walk to good Thai and Chinese dining options. Breakfast buffet had Thai, Western, and Chinese options. The saunas helped us relax before bed. The main chandelier over the living room was inoperative, though there was adequate lighting elsewhere.

You get a whole apartment for the price of a room.

Best hotel I stayed at in a long time. I was there for 7 nights. They received me with a whole lot of goodies. The staff were all really amazing, helpful and quite nice. When I left they offered to provide a transfer to the airport. The front desk manage came to wish me a good trip back and gave me a small gift. Very nice gesture. It was very clean and everyone was very nice.

Amazing room, very big and spotless. Extremely good price/quality. Breakfast was good with some variety. Impressive quantity of complimentary snacks & drinks.

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was included and very good I may have wanted to stay closer to old town, but it was still a good area with many things to do and see

Breakfast was a buffet, standard but delicious, room was comfortable, hotel gave a bag of goodies and water for the guests which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, happy with the hotel!

The bed was not very comfortable and pretty stiff

Property was really nice! Really enjoyed the breakfast, the gym and the pool area. Rooms are very big and spacious, we felt very comfortable and happy there. Location was not clear, we arrived to the main empress hotel and whenever we called a taxi they would arrive at the wrong location. We were told there was 24/7 room service however there was a very small menu that we could order from and it was only until 9pm.

Very good hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, with a wide variety of choices. The location is convenient, and the overall stay was pleasant. I would recommend this hotel. nothing

The location was great, it was our first time in Chiang Mai and it was close to the night markets and the old city so we were able to walk to these areas. The breakfast was great, a lovely buffet true to Asian standards with excellent western and Asian favourites.

Welcome gift. Bell service guy and door guy at the lobby. Selection of mini cakes at breakfast. Loved the interior design and wooden furniture and arts in hotel and room. Soundproof, very quiet if you come for relaxation, peace and quiet this is the place to be. Bed is very firm but comfortable for me. Free shuttle to Hotel: No response to chat message when mentioned late arrival for check-in due to flight delay informing hotel for the free shuttle service to hotel booked. Had to pay a taxi to commute to hotel as there appeared to be no free shuttle pick up from airport by hotel or I might have missed something. Check-In: Nice and friendly man at check-in. However, no welcoming feeling overall in general by some staff members. Atmosphere feels a bit tense with staff. The sphere feels a bit dead as if it lost it's glory days and can only deliver 3.5 or 4 stars which is in stark contrast to what is shown on the hotel tv channel in the room. Breakfast: Ok, overall same selection of breakfast food each day. Staff: Are very helpful but overall seem not to be authentically happy and welcoming. Cleanliness: Dusty room, cobweb on ceiling, long accumulated dust on chandelier, on bedside lamps, on top of TV, on minibar drinks, glasses and mugs, on magnifying mirror in bathroom. Hot-cold water taps in bathroom are reversed. Also reversed Right Tight, Left Loose leading to unintended more water spillage. Taps were not tightly attached to wall as they came off half loose when turning taps. Upgraded to another room, less dusty but similar situation as previous room but got air refresher in room that helped with triggered allergy. Sticky child hand smudges on lower part of window, carpet had some crumbs and little plastic wrap corners on it. Shower got mold between some tiles, ceiling filter in bathroom also very dusty, shower head has accumulated calc, shower door and wall had shower and wipe smudges, a hair on the floor. Water pressure shower is good however, around every 35 seconds the water got painfully hot for a couple of seconds to restore back at indicated temperature. Slippers and robe (one-size) are to buy if wanted. At check-out, when asked about free shuttle to airport I was advised to book a Grab.
