staff are friendly, clean rooms...walking distance to cafe and restaurants..cheap rates. for 9 nights stay, no sound proof room it can get noisy from drunk people from other rooms, imagine 3 AM and the other rooms are noisy ? and you will hear flushing toilets from other room.

You could not ask for a better location in Chiang Mai! Near sweet local eateries, coffee shops. And lil fruit markets. We will definitely stay again ! Beautiful hotel! Just book it!

Great location inside the ancient city! On a great street with many cafés, market and close to any restaurants and the main market. Pool is great to relax by and a nice common area. Staff are amazing.

Location was excellent. Clean and comfortable. Odd setup with office in one building and access to the other building with our room required walking outside around the block. So, access to the other pool with sun required the same walk. Pool in our location was totally shaded; which we didn’t mind

Hotel is not isolated well so we could hear what is going on outside like wildlife or slamming doors on our floor.

I've stayed here multiple times over the past four years. The location is absolutely perfect, and the hotel is well run and comfortable. It was noisier than I remembered. There were two main sources of noise -- people being loud in the hallway or pool areas -- this was mostly an issue after the bars close, and isn't very prolonged most nights. What is new is the outdoor Muay Thai school just across Ratchapakhinai Rd. from the hotel. Apparently the key to the sport is to be as loud as possible, so anywhere in or near the hotel you can hear hours of an aural sequence consisting of a SHOUT, then a THUD as a punch or kick lands on target, then the loudest GRUNT you've ever heard. The sequence repeats about twice a minute.

The location was incredible- everything was within walking distance , the room & bathroom were nice - pool was also good Unfortunately our room had a bad odour to it - might have been from the pipes/bathroom but otherwise was a lovely stay

The location is excellent! Nice pool and rooms are quiet and spacious for 1-2 people. The key card system to operate the entry doors is a bit temperamental. Sometimes the card works, sometimes it doesn’t and you have to scan it a couple of times for the door to unlock.

Big room, bed super comfortable, air conditioning unit was whisper quiet, shower was excellent and there were spaces to dry off clothes if needed. Everything we saw seemed to be only a 5-10 min walk away too. Location was excellent. WiFi drops out a lot more matter which one you try to login to. Could be dependent on room but ours wasn’t great.

Lovely stay at Lanna Tree. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Front of house team on reception very informative, giving advise and recommendations for trips in Chiang Mai also very helpful with regards to our room and helping us with air-conditioning and tv. Nice hotel great location. Nothing I didn't like all ok for a short stay.
