It was my 4th stay at Malee Hotel and it is always such a pleasure to be back! The staff is wonderful, super friendly and they go out of their way to assist you with booking activities and transportation. They even greeted me with a "welcome back" card and a gift on my bed - how thoughtful! The rooms are spacious, very clean, quiet, with all the facilities you need (hairdryer, small fridge, kettle, toiletries...). The wifi works perfectly if you need to do some work. The location is ideal, in a nice part of the Old Town, with my favourite temples very close by. The best thing really is the staff, so kind, it feels like home. Nueng - thank you for everything, I am looking forward to seeing you again next year!

Super central, incredibly clean (bathrooms and showers were always spotless), very safe vibes, and the staff were SO caring. As a 33 year old female, I’m past the hostel scene, but this one was amazing because the age demographic always seemed to be mid 20s to mid 30s, so very chill and respectful environment. The door into the bedroom is very sturdy and safe, which is good. However, it would be amazing to cancel out the noise a little, especially if people arrive back to the dorm late at night or get up very early.

The location was excellent, walking distance from the main attractions of the city. The staff was very helpful and ready to accommodate us with any request we had. Clean room, with two free bottled water everyday for us. As we visited Chiang mai during the lantern festival, one night the noise was very loud from outside, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Although this was only for a night.
