From the moment I walked into my private room, it felt so inviting and comfortable. Loved the blue and white with the wood. The bed is sooo comfortable. I was having major back pain from my previous stay in Bangkok. My first night in this bed and I was back to normal. The curtains are heavy and well made to block out noise. I appreciate having a full-length mirror. The desk in my room with a comfortable chair was a huge plus so that I could work from the comfort of my room rather than packing my things up and going to a cafe for several hours a day. The Wi-Fi is excellent. I enjoyed drinking my coffee and free drinking water on the super cute private balcony - the detail on the floor and colorfully painted columns were aesthetically lovely. The plugs were great there too. Normally the adaptors are halfway hanging out of the plugs at other places. The AC is nice for a westerner like me. I left and did some traveling in the north and decided to come back here for another week so I could get some work done before going to Laos. They added a kettle, coffee, and water to my room. I'm in even more love with this place. It honestly felt like I was in my own bedroom/office. It's light and bright and perfectly decorated in a minimalistic style. I could've stayed there long term. I loved the way there are foam tubes on the bottom of each door. The staff always have a smile and are so quiet mannered and humble. All areas are extremely clean and organized in an obvious daily routine. The location is a short 5–8-minute walk from the famous Sunday Night Walking Street Market and also in the other direction from the nightly Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. Scooters are easy to rent and are the same price as rental agencies. And you can do your own laundry here. Having a cafe below is also very helpful on rainy days when you want some breakfast. It was def more affordable and within my budget when I stayed here in October during the shoulder season. I came back in November at the beginning of high season, so the price is higher. I paid more than I typically allow myself, but I was so comfortable there in October and was familiar with the staff and everything, so I bent my rules for the stay in November. I do wish that I could pay with my credit card and save my cash but that doesn't seem to be common in the north like it is in Bangkok. The only reason I'm giving a 9 instead of a 10 is that normally at this value, I have a private bathroom. However, the shared bathrooms here are big and spacious and exceedingly clean. The only recommendation/improvement I could say is to have 2 rolls of tissue in each bathroom at all times.

The location is central to all shopping areas and the airport. The place offers great amenities and friendly staff, especially Pho Thar who arranged my daily tours. It would be nice if the bathrooms were close to each section.

My room was spotless and comfy! I had a desk so I could work in the room with ac. The kitchen was big too. It was very quiet at night so I rested a lot.

    Superb

A place with no worries - japanese style toilets, showers with water massage, full kitchen, plenty of common space, breakfast with many fruits/pb/Nutella/bread/avocado (sometimes items different). A pleasant staff to help you at all hours. Need I say more.

The amenities were constantly cleaned by the staff and felt very welcoming and inviting to use. The shared communal areas were nice and quiet, therefore noise from outside the rooms was never a problem. The small lights inside each bank bed are too strong and light up the other nearby banks whenever someone is using them. Had two nights in which woke up in the middle of the night from my neighbor's room mate switching on the strip of light that was going from their bed into mine... The lockers inside the rooms are tiny and narrow which takes them out of use. Didn't have a proper place for my bag, so had to place it on my bed during the day so it won't be on the way of the other roommates.

The premises was very clean and the staff were super welcoming, kind and helpful. So much so that I extended my first stay and revisited when I returned to Chiang Mai

So Good! Friendly, Super Happy (especially Aung) Helpful staff! Seemingly new showers with rain heads and body spray made bath time luxurious. Extra toilets outside if needed, along with extra simpler showers available for peak use times. Easy walking access to Old City, Night Bazaar made me stay more than twice expected visit and plan to book for return and flight out. Unbeatable value and met the best travel buddies so far in Thailand! In my opinion you would be silly to not stay here! They apparently have private rooms if dorm style is not for you, but everyone was very respectful.

Clean, quiet, good location. Friendly front desk The blanket was just barely big enough to cover the bed with no extra coverage

Great location in a quiet back alley but still really close to old town/night market and everything you need is in walking distance. Hostel dorms are clean and provide locker, light & plug at each bed (usually a curtain too, but I saw some missing). No access to your dorm without key. Hostel provides a kitchen & fridge, free water, towels, 24/7 counter, tour advice, outdoor area to sit & chill, hot water shower, washing maschine (50Baht). There are no organised social events or parties (if you need that) but it's still easy to meet people. Staff is very friendly and well organised. Great Wifi if you need to work. I keep extending. :) Paying in cash only. No breakfast, but great coffee shop with breakfast right next door (great coffee & avo toast) or close by on main street. Staff only speaks little english so you can't ask too complicated questions. But they're sweet and want to help you. Just a suggestion: The back "garden" has a lot potential for more really comfortable sitting areas like sofas or such.

The location is unbeatable - central yet on a quiet street, the two guys at the reception always smiley and willing to help, the hostel itself is cute and the vibe is calm. I extended my stay and recommend it to everyone!

I stayed here 3 nights. It's a really nice hostel. The owners TarTar and Sithu are so friendly. There is a lovely Burmese experience here, with Burmese restaurant next door. Bed is very comfortable and hot shower. Great location too and a nice hostel to meet other guests.
