Incredible value, new modern hotel, wonderful staff… love the unlimited water and fruit. A little away from the most convenient spots … required using some grab rides. Smaller room but so well thought out, the owners know their stuff. The staff was wonderful… but it’s Thailand :) they are almost always wonderful.

Location was great, quite walkable from main locations we wanted to visit. There was always water available in the hotel lobby as well as a coffee machine and some fruit or homemade cookies! In each floor there is a water machine so you can fill your own water bottle. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, the breakfast space is too small (in the lobby) and quite packed at certain times.

I loved this place. Very quiet neighborhood, very friendly staffs. There’s snacks and fruit for you all day. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Maybe some help with luggage while checking in would be great.

The staff The fresh fruit and water 24/7 The location AND our favorite was they had bicycles. We rode them around almost every day. Super nice staff. We really loved this place. Pool gets out of sun quickly each day so you can't just lounge very long.

Before I booked this property I looked at many options and found reviews on this property were always very positive. I can offer nothing to change that perspective. This property is satisfying in every way. The staff were excellent, the property clean and comfortable with a home like feeling made more so by the offer for free coffee, fruit and sweets 24 hours a day. Bathrobes would be a welcome addition to the room, but that does not change my thinking that this is definitely a property I would stay at again.

The hotel was very clean. Staff came through multiple times per day to make sure all common areas were mopped, the glass was wiped, etc. Upon entry into the room itself, everything was nicely arranged and it was clear that it had been cleaned (many other hotels have hair from previous guests on the floor, but not here, they are thorough). The breakfast was pretty good. There was a nice range of options each morning that could meet a wide variety of dietary needs. I particularly liked that they had a lot of local dishes as well, so we could try more Thai food. I was really pleased with the staff in general. The front desk staff were always very kind and helpful. They always greet you when you enter the hotel and are willing to chat with you if you would like to chat. They also have many recommendations for places to go eat, visit, or get a massage. You can tell that they are very guest-focused. We forgot a camera charger and battery in our room after checkout. The receptionist who was working on 5/29/2025 (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name, but all staff were friendly in general) contacted me within 30 minutes of check out to let me know that my battery and charger were still there (a replacement would have cost about $40-50 USD). When she heard that I was already at the airport she sent a grab taxi to deliver the battery to me. I was more than willing to return to the hotel directly to retrieve it, but she had it sent to me instead. Not only was it sent to me, the taxi was paid for by the hotel. I was willing to pay for the trouble, but they gave me this service free of charge. I already enjoyed my experience at Por Arak quite a bit, but given how far they went to help me, I will definitely be returning and recommending this location to friends and family in future trips. Thank you! I had an extremely positive experience, there isn't anything in particular that I would change. If anything, perhaps the complimentary fruit can be re-filled a bit more often throughout the day. Even then, there is usually fruit available until evening anyways.
