Our stay at Aksara Heritage in Chiang Mai was an absolute highlight of our trip. There was a calm, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere throughout the property. The saltwater pool was a standout feature—beautifully designed, refreshing, and never overly crowded. It became our favorite place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The rooms were just as impressive, with gorgeous high ceilings that made the space feel airy and elegant, while still being incredibly comfortable. Breakfast each morning was a treat. There was an impressive variety of options, from fresh fruit and pastries to local Thai dishes, all delicious and beautifully presented. It set the perfect tone for the day. What truly made our stay special, though, was the staff. Every interaction was warm, genuine, and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. The level of customer service was exceptional, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. Aksara Heritage strikes a perfect balance between charm, comfort, and hospitality—we would absolutely stay here again.

The staff was friendly but more importantly, everyone there seemed to care about our experience at the hotel. The breakfast included about 30 items in the buffet and six made-to-order selections plus a daily special. Incredible. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Amenities in the room were generous. This is one of the best hotel stays that I ever had, and I have been to hotels around the world.

The service was extremely kind and attentive all the way through to checkout. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great central location, which made getting around very easy. We also enjoyed the pool area overall, including the sunbeds and the relaxed atmosphere. One downside was that there were (the many) mosquitoes in the room when we arrived. We took care of it ourselves and later asked reception to spray. In addition, the gym felt like a greenhouse with very limited equipment, and there was no water or towels available. The bathroom and shower area were quite small, and the door (a two-part style) wasn’t very convenient. The sink being located outside the bathroom also felt a bit unusual. The beds were also not the most comfortable.

The hotel itself beautifully blends traditional theme with modern comfort. The rooms are elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, creating a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. Every detail, from the décor to the cleanliness, reflects a high standard of care. The location is also perfect—close to many of Chiang Mai’s attractions, yet quiet enough to feel like a relaxing retreat. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai, especially if you value service that truly makes you feel cared for. Good location and well appointed rooms. Excellent breakfast with buffet and à la carte options. Good coffee and other drinks. On Sunday during the walking street it’s difficult to reach the hotel with your car because of the closed Main street.

STUNNING! Absolutely loved this hotel. Our welcome was so friendly. The gardens, restaurant and pool area is beautiful and our room was stunning. Really big room, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed and great location. Will definitely be staying here again on another trip. The food we had one night was sightly disappointing, considering yo9u are in the heart of Chang Mai and surrounded by incredible places to eat.
