Top North Hotel

If you want a comfortable bed, AC and a warm shower, this place is perfect. Also within walking distance to two 7-11 shops about 2 minutes away from the hotel in either direction. Staff was great. If you order Grab it's great for that to. TV was fuzzy but I did not come to watch TV so it was not an issue at all.

Outlet in my room did not meet my charger.

I always stay here when I am in Chaing Mai. It feels quiet and secluded inside, and right out front is the best part of the old town.

Location and parking First we request a 2 rooms, one with wheelchair accessible for my friend, when he look at our reservation, he was surprised of the request. Our room was a mess. We ask to change room. I look at 3 room. It was like changing $1 for 4x25 cents. ( smell like old wood, mold in bathroom hole in sheet and more)This hotel definitely need a lot of money to improved. I guess there is some renovated room but we didn’t get one. I would like to put more picture but I can only put 4.

This is an older facility but clean and neat.

I stayed on the 4th floor, and while the room was spacious, I noticed that the metal cornice outside the windows is a popular resting spot for pigeons. Their movements could be quite noisy, especially if you’re a light sleeper. If you’re sensitive to noise, I recommend avoiding the top floor. Also the hotel is very old (the value matched the price)

I went there to rest and relax and that is what I did. It was an older property but fairly well maintained. Good location too.

Well situated near Tapaie gate, room are spacious, hot water good, desk and night table and closet for clothes. Housekeeping staff very friendly, helpful and professional can’t say the same for some of the staff at frontdesk... The rooms are dated and needs a lot of love...the sockets to charge are loose so not working good and when you leave the room the electricity is cut...so no charging. No lamps for reading, the room need a deep cleaning dust on top of closet and under beds. You need to login the wifi all the time since it’s the old style from the 90’s very unpractical. Construction is going on at the moment so noisy in the day and at night it’s right beside de Muay Thai stadium so you can imagine the noise ...The water in the pool is ice cold. Tried to get an upgrade or some kind of compensation for the gap between the price and what’s offered but nothing was done

Great location and wonderful staff Nothing

I think any place in the old city is good. inside the wall perimeter everything is at a convenient distance. also the red taxi make things affordable. and if you don’t want to wait on anyone grab is also phenomenal. kickboxing right next door for your entertainment. the property is what you expect from a budget friendly hotel. everything in my room worked perfectly and the cleaning lady was always on top of it. didn’t skip out on the water also. the pool was great to have a relaxing moment to break the day in half. if you want to catch some sun while swimming I suggest 1100-1500, after that the massive property covers the pool with its shadow. it was only 150 baht for a taxi from the airport. needs a little touch up but that seems par for the course with the majority of hotels in the area.

The two good things about the property was the pool, and the location. The rooms and general facilities were very run down. The whole place needs a substantial renovation.
