Cross Chiang Mai Riverside

Everything was amazing.

Located a little off of the beaten path, but a cheap ride into the Old part of the city, the property is located on a tranquil riverfront. The amenities are lovely, with a beautiful pool area with built-in cabanas and a small but nice gym. The grounds are nice for a stroll as well. Rooms are clean and very spacious, appointed with simple but comfortable furnishings. Bathroom was luxurious and very spacious.

The water pressure and temperature was not the best.

The staff is very supportive and welcome drinks and daily snacks are excellence and heart touching. You can feel the hotel is really care about you in person. Breakfast was excellent so does the lunch, the food is meeting and beyond my expectations. Air-con angle was not adjustable which is very cold and blows on the heads directly when you sleep on bed. Wardrobe need to fix with some oil on the hardware in order to reduce some noise when open & closing.

My stay at Cross Chiang Mai Riverside was exceptional from start to finish. The property itself is absolutely beautiful—elegant, serene, and perfectly positioned with breathtaking views of both the river and the mountains. Every corner felt thoughtfully designed and peaceful. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to creating a wonderful experience. A special thank-you to Mr. Bruno, whose care and attention to detail elevated the entire stay. He curated an experience that felt personal, seamless, and truly memorable. If you’re looking for a luxurious, tranquil escape in Chiang Mai, I can’t recommend Cross Chiang Mai Riverside highly enough. It exceeded every expectation.

The property is very intimate and well-kept! The team does a great job of accommodating guests’ needs and making the stay feel special! I’d stay here again and again!

Thai service, quite location

Amazing design hotel. Love it from the inner courtyard to the rooftop pool and the garden in front of Oxygen Room restaurant facing the river. Great selection for breakfast, mainly a-la-carte. Very good size for room, bathroom and private balcony. A special thanks to Nia at Front Desk who helped me to arrange various things during my stay.

Food is great Unexpected snack upon arrival, also fruit plate served in room the next day. Spacious room and bathroom No bathroom in swiming pool & gym area. A bit traffic jam some period of time nearby intersection to the hotel.

Quiet and serene

The staff were fantastic. Made a huge effort with us and our children and little personal touches - personalised chocolate bars on arrival. The food was Fantastic and the staff could not be more helpful or kind. Highly recommend.

This place is truly an oasis of calm. Calm professionalism, politeness, thoughtfulness and care. Julian and his staff excelled at all times, including through the famous earthquake. I wasn't too keen to be on an upper floor in case of aftershocks and he kindly found me something at ground level. I travel a lot. This was a really nice version of 5-star. Formal but not stiff. Attentive but not intrusive. I will be back.

Customer service was beyond excellent. I originally thought I had to check out early, made a mistake and realized after I checked out nearly a day early that I was wrong, and came right back to the hotel and they were able to clean up my room and give it right back to me! When I did actually finally leave, I didn't leave until evening time. After checking out they stored my bags and even offered me a chance to shower on site before I left. Made sure I could order food and get early breakfast when I was doing activities that conflicted with scheduled meal hours. Everyone I spoke with was beyond friendly and super helpful! I also loved the area. I prefer quiet at my hotel stay. While the hotel isn't right in the old town area, I liked that because it was quiet and peaceful, but also close enough to get there very quickly. They even had a shuttle to take you to major locations. Looking at how my balcony was set up, I think one thing that would be beneficial would be the installation of some kind of net awning to close in the balcony to protect it from the mosquitos. I would have loved to hang out on the balcony, but the mosquitos were out in full force!
