The staff were very friendly and helpful at all time. The value of money is 10/10. And if possible surpassed the expectations The first day the room wasn't feeling fresh but I guess is the weather....maybe before the guest arrives it will be better to have some ventilation or the fun on for half an hour or so.

The price was excellent!

Location- lots around easy to get to restaurants, trips and local flavor Air conditioning blows right on your chest ..no way to divert it.

I’ve stayed at the Nordwind many times it’s a good place with a great breakfast and a good location. I was hoping for the beautiful view, but it’s burning season, so maybe next time. I used to wake up to the peaceful sounds of chickens and roosters below my balcony it was actually really nice. But now they’ve built a gym next door, and my mornings are filled with yelling and the thudding of punching bags instead. It was cool at first, but it took away from what the hotel used to be.

The room was nice, big and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool. Lots of things to eat within short walk. Breakfast was a bit lacking.

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the omelette and fresh fruit. Laundry service was great and staff was helpful when the locking mechanism on the door failed...they moved us to a better room...bonus! Chiang Mai was in the middle of its burning season, so pollution was high...nothing wrong with the hotel, but it did put a bit damper on the visit.

Hard bed but seems to be a Thailand thing.

Front desk staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and stylish (at this price point). Lovely pool area. In some rooms (I stayed in 3 different ones), the window is in a corner and at an angle to the main part of the room so seeing out was more difficult. Other rooms the window was located so that guests can actually look out. The breakfast was alright, but not great. I eat low-carb and high protein and there were never eggs left over and aside from that there was mostly fruit, bread, and congee. It would have been nice to have more eggs so they don’t run out so fast. Maybe doing them as scrambled would be easier than individually frying each egg. Just a suggestion.

Good Breakfast. Pool. Clean. Spacious.

Staff — from the front desk to the breakfast buffet team to housekeeping — were exceptionally helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. There really wasn’t anything I disliked. Everything ran smoothly, the hotel felt well managed, and the service was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Staff is very welcoming, breakfast is great. Very clean. Nothing everything was great

The beds were very comfortable!

Laundry service double priced but was done on time both days. The awful smell coming from the bathroom ,pretty sure was sewer system but it made us gag.The bathroom was very dark and no relaxing lighting in the room. Dont let the room with balcony fool you, nothing to see and no where to sit.
-
So much to poke, from breakfast to the staff the location etc. Only the room smell. I thought it was maybe my socks or something but no, it’s from the pipes in bathroom I think as other tenant mentioned this also. And I did my laundry.

Fairly new building and great staff. Very accommodating. Good breakfast. Mostly very good. Nothing in particular. A bit far away but Bolt can find it easy. So not a problem. I would often walk into town for coffee and walk home.

A good location, not in old city but close enough to walk in less than 10 minutes. Breakfast had a little variety which included eggs, pastries, juice, coffee, fruit and a few various Thai dishes each morning. Chiang Mai was extremely busy the weekend I was there so there weren't many options. Given that I think prices were higher than normal everywhere so this was a bit more pricey they it probably should be but it was very clean, staff were very friendly, breakfast was better than average. Nothing.. it was a good place!

Everything was very good at the hotel, I have no complaints. The pricing dynamic on Booking.com made this extremely expensive at times to continue to stay at well beyond the value. I don’t think it was a fault of the hotel so much as it was a relationship we have with booking, but for somebody who stays here frequently felt manipulative.

Location is great, within a good walk or short scooter ride to old town or the night bizarre, right in between. Many restaruants a short walk away. Turkish restaurant very close and very good -- try the greek salad. The pool area is nice. Rooms are comfortabel, not too loud. The Muay Thai boxing academy inext door can be loud but only during reasonable hours. Breakfast was ok, limited choices, rquest an omelette I suggest.

We are from California and we booked nordwind expecting a good stay, All our 4 rooms have awful toilet smell, plumbing is leaking, mattress is like a rock, we found insects and spider webs, even remote controls for tv and ac had dead batteries. Manager die not respond or address our concern. Very bad stay, i do not recommend for anyone, not worth a penny.
