Beautiful architecture, beautiful art, and antiques everywhere. The gardens were amazing. The swimming pool area was fantastic. Mosquitoes inside and outside.

Love everything about this oasis of a hotel. It is exceptional is so many ways, and it is the perfect antidote to large bland international chain hotels. Here beautiful single and two storey buildings of traditional Lanna design are arranged around peaceful courtyards with lush gardens. The rooms and public spaces are decorated with classic Thai furniture, antiques, art and objects. Obliging, friendly staff are always to hand when needed. The swimming pool is everything you would want after a day exploring the amazing sights of the city. Breakfast and dinner are served in a lovely courtyard, adjacent to the airconditioned enclosed restaurant. Breakfast is perfect, with excellent espresso coffee and faultless service. The hotel driver Khun Noi is knowledgeable and very helpful. Can't wait to return. Nothing

One of the most tasteful properties in Chiangmai. I can tell that the owner is very passionate about what he does and everything has attention to detail. Very impressive. Nothing.

Outstanding room. Wonderful restaurant. Very helpful staff. Excellent location, short walking distance to all the best places in town. None.

Lovely pool, spacious rooms, very peaceful and tranquil. Amazing location within walking distance of the main town. Breakfast was delicious. Nothing.

A quiet oasis in the heart of the old city, within walking distance of the famous Chiang Mai walking street on a Sunday evening. All is calm and hushed, and there’s an abundance of art and antiques scattered around the grounds. This extends to the rooms, with tall ceilings and interesting books on the desk to browse through. However, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool enough, and a good night’s sleep was further banished by nightly bites from mosquitoes in the room despite the hotel providing insect repellent. On closer inspection, there were gaps around the antique doors into the room so there was never any hope of keeping them out. It got to the point I was getting anxious about going to bed. There were also a lot of mosquitoes around the pool area. Service is polite and accommodating, although occasionally difficult to find around the pool area. Service in the restaurant was equally good. There’s a lot to like at Rachamankha, but the mosquito situation with the room would make me hesitate to return.
