The Lady who welcomed us is very pragmatic and flexible. Our needs and wishes were well catered to. Not knowing Italian was not an issue at all. Breakfast is simple Italian breakfast, which means it is sweet. Not everyone is used to that. Also, Lake Sirio is mostly fenced, so you don't really experience it directly.

We had booked here as a stopover for 1 night on a long road trip. We were happily surprised to find that there is an attached gastronomic restaurant. Not only that, but we ate there and the meal was fantastic! I can definitely recommend this place if you appreciate good food.

Everything! Charming place, very kind and friendly staff, our dog was very welcome!

The room was clean and new. Under the B&B you find a charming trattoria. It is a bit more fine dining than casual with good food, also there are a lot of options for food in the area. We visited Lago di Sirio before and it was convenient and beautiful to stay near the lake and enjoy a swim & tanning at nearby Chalet Moia. With a view of the surrounding mountains this is one of our favorite places in Italy to enjoy a vacation with locals and barely any tourists. The new B&B gave us the opportunity to relive our memories of the lake & the trattoria when we were here 5 years ago. We will be back for sure since we visit the area every year. Thank you for the friendly service & warm greetings every day. The staff helped us with a wine opener and playing cards and all in all they were super helpful when we were there. Also say hi to the friendly cat! Only a small feedback: We wanted to add a third person and when I called they said the room is only for two. So I arranged it here by cancelling the room & making a new booking, but I would have preferred if they told me about the possibilities.

The Vecchio Cipresso is a little off the main route (and hard to find when our satnav had just stopped working!). The little flat was beautifully converted from an old agricultural building. Very comfy bed and modern shower room with small living space on the lower floor. The living area had all the facilities for us to make our own simple continental breakfast. Ornella met us and showed us round. Very welcoming, kind and helpful. She also runs the Trattoria next door with her family where we had a wonderful dinner with a great wine list. Not much. It might have been nice to have had the option of a bigger breakfast but the Trattoria is only open in the evenings. It’s not a hotel but as a self catering apartment it’s hard to see what could be nicer.

The restaurant on the site was awesome! After 12 years living in Italy I am still amazed that you can find top notch places like that in the middle of nowhere. I was lucky enough to even enjoy some live music. Since I travelled alone (or rather, with my dog), I really liked that I could have breakfast in my room on my own schedule. I also liked that the shampoo and conditioner (which is rarely available) were in big bottles, very sustainable!

Wonderful location 3km from town centre in the country by a lake, newly renovated, friendly owner and staff, great restaurant ... Ivrea is a hidden gem (the cathedral indoors has to be seen - from the main structure built of coloured marbles to the crypt - several styles over 1100 years of add-ons). The old city and castle are beautiful. The countryside where this B&B is located is amazing - in the foothills between the Alps and the plain. Keep an eye out for waterfowl, birds of prey and chamois. The owners are super. Make sure you book at least one dinner in the restaurant (fine dining). Load a translation program (smartphone) to take off the stress of travel and ensure you get the most of everything this area has to offer! Nothing to improve.

A beautiful, private place. Absolutely adorable.

Newly renovated lake-front property located right next to a popular local restaurant. Dedicated parking spaces for both the trattoria and locanda. Located in a secluded area, mainly being a lake resort getaway for locals.

Friendly owners, waited up for us 2 hours after the time we where initially supposed to arrive Very clean room, tastefully decorated, nice bed. Breakfast was sweet only, a cake, jam, yogurt and cookies, that we where supposed to eat in the room. Meanwhile, the BnB has it's own restaurant next door. The least they could offer is some boiled eggs and hams/cheese options (it's Italy, come on) even if they don't have a cook present in the morning.

There is no space for breakfast.

Such attention paid to the little details here, you can see they have put thought and effort into the room presentation. The hosts were also so, so lovely, even leaving a sweet little birthday note in the room for our arrival!
